The concern for me IF that happens, and i really do think we need to be patient at the moment and not jump to conclusions, is that all three at one point or another have been described as primary targets. Missing out on all of them would be rather disappointing to put it politely.

At the moment tho all three are still in play and we haven’t heard anything definitive about any of them. I may be very skeptical about our chances with Doué and Eze in particular, for different reasons, but nothing has been decided and we still might pull a rabbit or two out of the hat. We do like to work in the shadows these days after all. Just have to put our faith in the recruitment team for now.

Primary targets and their prices/values shouldn’t come as any great surprise. No point window shopping in Harrods if you’re only looking to pay M&S prices.

While true they also are ahead of us and finished with Champions League football. Our needs are more urgent than those sides and our manager made it clear he wants players in early. Let's see how it plays out

Guys, all it takes is the complete two signings within the next 7 days and all of a sudden the outlook completely changes.

By many accounts we have brought in a player that can play as a back up inverted fullback, a DMC and a back up creative AMC ( not using numbers for A&C's sale). Add a winger and one more and all of a sudden we're most of the way through our proposed business
