Best to down play everything so squad morale not damaged is my take. What I believe is targets not/never changed. Bids in with some accepted. Only when there is a problem will we consider other options. I expect to see a deal (eventually) with J Rodriguez of S'ton, subject to med records etc. If not now then January, and there are talks going on surrounding Morgan Schneiderlin. Hope it develops to accepted bid. S'ton in difficult position as few players aside the obvious all want out which makes things difficult with the ones already sold.

BAE's a difficult one. Poch would probably like to see him before deciding as I think he could play the system well though likely to be second choice behind Davis and I don't think we would want older back-ups.

First and foremost they have a moral obligation to the fans

Then a long, long, long, long, long way after that they have an obligation to sponsors

The reason will be confirming the other part of the deal, Siggy going the other way, and also Vorm at the same time. He's training with our squad, there's nothing to worry about.
