I have a vision of JJ in a dark room bent over a computer typing yes, no, maybe to every question he is asked on twitter never leaving. He never shaves, cuts his nails, and shits in a bucket placed under his chair. His wife comes in to sponge him down and change the bucket, all the time he is typing spurs related itk on twitter as the days merge into one. If only they would stop asking questions he could return to living his life.

I think we're probably looking at Dembele/M'Vila (One or the other), Lloris, and Willian in the end. If we can include Defoe in a deal to land Dembele, then I believe Remy would be in the group as well. So, 3 probably, 4 tops?

If (big, big if) a fee has been agreed and the club have agreed to sell, then the deal is about 95% of the way there, judging by previous ITK about Lloris.

Yeah it's a big if...but the Guardian was quoting it as such....they are usually pretty good with their info..... So I figured it might have some legs?(n)

Really, really not convinced by Remy; also he has reported heart problems...

Alongside the prior fact and what I've seen of him in half a dozen games; pass tbh

I think that's about right.

If I were betting right now:

Lloris
Willian
Dembele

Which would be great but no genuine cover for Ade

Anderson isn't that bad. If we were even linked with him while he was still at Porto we'd furiously bashing ourselves off at the prospect of the 'New Ronaldinho'.

Yes, he's carrying a little excess weight but he's still a good player by any standards.

If it's less than that then AVB will know that he's been mugged off.

I'd play him ahead of Livermore and JJ. The same way I'd play Nani ahead of Lennon.

Cant see another striker coming in, especially with Lloris back on the radar, just dont see the money stretching that far.

It has to. Adebayor as our only striker capable of playing the lone striker role just is not enough. Defoe proved Saturday he can't do it, too often he chose to shoot on sight than play in a better placed teammate. If it comes off, great, but on Saturday it didn't, and that cost us after our dominance wasn't capitalised upon.

We have to find the money to go after our targets, or look harder to find targets who fit our budget.

GK, 2 CM's and a CF. Wide midfielder if there is money left. Even if one of the signings has to be loan, they all need sorting.

Lloris
Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Ekotto
Sandro, M'vila
Willian/Lennon, Dembele, Bale Adebayor

Friedal
Naughton, Caulker, Gallas, Rose
Livermore, Parker
Lennon/Bentley, Sigurdsson, GDS/Townsend
Aubemeyang/Remy/a.n.other

Aubemeyang appears a younger, cheaper alternative to Remy. Similarly able to play up top centrally, or wide. Grabbed a couple of goals last night I believe.
