I like the Journo. He gets some good stuff. Not Spurs-specific but seems to have an in on the general grapevine.

Of course, this leaves us with many many problems, if what he says is accurate. The Inter chairman, DL, about 50 bujillion agents and Leandro himself. If it happens then meh will be my response. Not happy not sad. I'm just grateful Moutinho is off the market if this deal does happen. We might have some news on a completely new player!

Disagree. We've already got 3 players in the Bernard mould (Bale, Lennon and Townsend), whereas we've been waiting five years to replace Berbatov. Half decent goalscoring #9s under £25m certainly aren't ten-a-penny.

There's been no credible ITK on Bernard at all. The Cobra one has been the only snippet to make read only.

On Leandro however there's been plenty positive noises from some of the most reputable ITKs like JJetset and Edmonton

he is nothing like those players. picking the lock is just as much of a problem for us as finishing chances. bernard greatly helps with the first. damiao hasn't done anything to warrant this hype, would you want us to sign fred? as he's the guy keeping damiao out of brazil's team. there's no evidence whatsoever to suggest he'd be any better than defoe or ade.
