Remy would be such a 'meh' signing for me. He's a good finisher granted but his all round game is pretty average, he goes missing for long stretches and then bang a great finish and he's the MOTD hero. I've never watched him and thought I wished we'd signed him. If he is Levy's hard-on signing then to me it shows he has not learnt a thing and is already imposing his will on the new man 'in charge'

Have you considered the periods in which he goes missing though? Looking at his stints in the Prem, he spent the spring of 2013 with a pretty abysmal QPR side with zero creative impetus. In the spring of 2014, the entire Newcastle team went tits up after Cabaye left. Was just no step in their play whatsoever. They knew there were going to climb no higher, but they had done enough to stave a relegations crap because of their performances in the fall. That fall, with Cabaye, Remy put away eight in a ten game stretch. So therefore, what's to say that with a more talented and hopefully more consistent squad behind him, that he can't be a genuine top Prem striker?

My priorities are LB and a winger. Give me Konoplyanka or Griezmann and Ricardo Rodriguez. The rest depend on sales. A center half(Alderweireld or Schar would be great) if Dawson or someone goes. A young striker with high potential(like a Batshuayi) would be ideal if Ade is sold. As for keeper, I'd rather stay away from Darlow or Vorm(both of whom we've had ITK on this year) and go for a 35+ content with being behind Lloris. Otherwise stick with Brad(but give Archer a few opportunities to see what he has).

Nice, thanks for posting.

Can't say I agree with your take on the keeper, but as for the rest I'd take that summer (although I do like Remy).
