Time to sit back and watch the Levy lovers spin their webs
Neither one or the other (although I do have the badge). Today is the 19th as far as I can tell. They call me Spider-Man. First (shite) post since the summer tw.

Levy probably thinks he is doing a good job handling transfers and there is no need for a DoF. As long as he has Pleat's opinion and his book of agents he likes working with, he'll think the situation is golden.

Lol this is all too predictable. You could literally copy and paste most of this from the last 2 years.

Ive finally accepted that nothing will change under Levy. Everything was supposed to be so exciting with the new stadium etc and its all just become massively embarrassing and gone to shit. Its the hope that kills you and he has even managed to kill that off for me.

Really wish that old codger will sell up and piss off soon. Can then go spend more time on deciding what artwork he wants to buy next rather than on who should manage his football team.
Wish he would overrule Levy more often.

So it's nailed on we're doing no more business in this window at all?

I think it's worth asking because there is little point in all the gnashing of teeth if that's the case. We've all posted out feelings on this matter before ...

Ah i see we’re finally accepting of the fact that a leopard can’t change its spots. I miss the Cain Hoy rumors. I was optimistic then. Google is nothing but a pipe dream.

I've been a spurs fan for a long time and I'm grateful for the facilities that ENIC have developed. But what's the fucking point in the best facilities in the world if you refuse to match that ambition on the pitch?

Dear oh dear. If ENIC aren't going to push us into the next level from here, having the stadium and training ground finally sorted then they'll be actively looking for buyers, Shirley?

What would the point of all this be otherwise, if not to capitalise on that investment?

So for those at home keeping score.

Jose was given assurances that now don't seem to be manifesting.

Levy didn't want Jose, Joe Lewis did even though he won't even put his hands into his pockets as he's determined to be buried with all his money.

Last but not least Levy won't go for the DoF that we all assumed we were getting now Jose is onboard.

Hope you all had a nice salty sunday dinner.

Great example how DL operates. Say Messi was available on a free, and was 30 years old. Wanted wages of 350k as zero transfer fee. And of 100% image rights etc (can’t find another name as we don’t do image rights in UK). DL would try to negotiate 200k wages, and 150k plus earned by appearances, goals etc. Messi would want those things added on separate. Image rights; DL would want 50%, which is a piss-take. Messi’s advisors may say, we will give you 10%. DL would create another image rights proposal, to attach to LM’s own. Deal would be on brink of collapse, as his sponsors wouldn’t agree.

Say now he has sponsors from Nike. DL would want a say of LM’s existing cherry to do the deal. Leicester would come in, agree to LM’s terms etc. DL hears about it, backs down and agrees to original deal. Agents don’t take DL’s call, and middle man gets told LM thinking about it. He signs for Leicester. DL gets media driven drivel how it wasn’t his fault.

Hope very good insight to how and why we have missed out on many deals. Which makes ITK’s look stupid.
