lol every window we say the same shit though.

"we need a isco, hazard, mahrez, type. someone who can beat players with their dribbling and pace, has the creativty and trickery to deliver the final killer ball, and if they can score 10 - 15 goals, that would make us contender "

and every season we either sign a sub par player like chadli, or a pay premium for someone whos not really there.

Wonder how many people's opinions are now changing about our interest in Zaha? Admittedly I am not seeing more than MOTD highlights but he seems to have really buckled down this year and got an end product. Palace won't sell him cheap though so probably unlikely.

Two goals and seven assists in the last seven games, he's certainly hit a patch of good form. He's played 90 minutes in all but two of Palace's PL games this season, which he almost certainly wouldn't have done had he come here, and that must be a contributing factor to his current good form.

And the one season Chadli played regularly for us he scored 11 league goals.

Potentially very exciting/optimistic initial piece of ITK (dependant on your perspective on things) - would love both deals to come off.

I think it's apparent that we need balance and rotational cover in midfield, particularly in creative/attacking roles. The questions for me would be:

a) can Isco make the instant transition to the PL? as i think it's likely to be an initial short term loan, a longer term deal would be very conditional IMO

b) What does Bazoer bring to the table, who misses out and

c) is any of this likely to even happen???

c) ✔

You've answered your own question.

My fears exactly :D. Can i at least ask that we don't revert to the Spurs of old and when this option becomes unobtainable, we have a more realistic plan B up our sleeves. Please DL, pretty please! C'mon DL FFS!

Opinions change all the time. Last season Mahrez was a world beater and a few seasons before everybody was excited about Amir Zaki. Who?

We sign a player with 2 out of the 3 in George
Only 1 problem, he does not get a run in the team
We really need pace on both wings . We always play only a speedy player on 1 side..which is Son at the moment
Be interesting to see how we look if we had George 1 side and Son 1 side...Eriksen behing Kane ...Ali with Dier in the center like last season.

we've only had two bits of ITK so far yeah? Isco and Bazoer? Heard Coach claiming Bazoer is near a move so I doubt it is us considering how late we leave things

Makes sense that if we had a lot of contact with Isco before the end of the last window that we would continue to have contact now if we still have interest in the player. Whether we can now convince him to come is a big ask but I'm sure we will give it everything to get him.

I'd honestly be shocked if he signed for us but absolutely delighted - Klinsmann level delighted.

Isco is exactly the player we need, he is absolutely brilliant and getting the ball in tight situations & creating something from nothing, and unfortunately is why we will not be signing him......!

The itk indicates intent but with others interested unlikely esp. when there is interest than better placed clibs than us.

Plan B's more difficult in this window as better players will not move unless surplus to requirements.

Two players who fit in this category are dePay and Schneiderlin at Utd. Supposedly available to Everton and can argue a case for both at Spurs but would probably be short term only.

MS would make a lot of sense, not sure Maureen would loan him to us though.

He isn't really. He's a very good player, who would no doubt add to our squad. But what we need is a pacey player who dribbles past people and scores 15 goals a season. Isco isn't that at all.

Quincy Promes at Spartak Moscow, 18 goals in 30 games from the wing last year, 6 in 17 this year. 24 years old, pacy, good on the ball, Dutch International, mates with VJ, would be looking to get out of Russia I reckon.
