Adebayor isn't the fastest of guys out there, but he's very good with his back to the goal, linking up, and laying off. Not sure his wages are to AVBs liking, but he's a very good player that wants to play for Spurs. Can't necessarily say the same for the Falcao, Higuain, Llorente, Benzema, and Hulk's of the world.

Maybe AVB has sat down with his transfer/wages budget, taken one look at Adebayor's potential contribution to the wages and signing on budget and thought: 'Fuck that, he was like bambi on ice for half of last season, I can do better AND for less money.'

(Don't get me wrong, I like Adebayor, but I expected him to be more clinical, lethal even. Perhaps he just wants a finisher as the focal point of his front 3.)

Didn't Adebayor has the best clear cut chances conversion rate in the league last year? Really think it would be a mistake to not get him if we have a chance.

I don't think this is right, haven't we just got about 11 million from selling Charlie and Nico?
