Sure. But La Liga is well above the PL in quality of football.
Matter of Opinions though really you could say that theirs 3-4 clubs better in terms of quality in La liga the rest not so much...the Italian league is well below the Premiership infact id put the Bundesliga above them as well but as i said its all opinions really.

Don't kid about, the PL is probably the bigger league in the World. It is watched worldwide, generates more cash than la liga, produces teams who constantly threaten or win the CL, and contains some of the World's biggest clubs. It's not sky selling it and us buying it, it is shown in the figures.

It's marketed superbly and dominates in places like the far east etc. Not sure that matters to a basque boy though. Having a shot at winning a serie a title or the pl is more or less the same thing.

It's the "biggest" league in the world and also the richest. Doesn't make it the best though. Not much in it between the top 3 or 4 leagues right now.

Wow there is a lot of biggoted rubbish about the Italian league. The Italian league is getting better all the time. It has also been pretty exciting football wise as well. The recent scandle is nothing to do with football clubs and Juve still have a much larger draw then us, and however much I hate to say it they are also probably a better team then us.

Very little chance to watch it in England so unless you're going out of your way to seek it then you're not going to see it. Which is a shame, because people don't get to see the ridiculously fantastic football that's coming out of the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Udinese unless they catch the odd game of them in Europe.

I miss Football Italia :(

But he tweeted earlier about how Levy was Levy'd by Madrid's chairman. If it's close to £35M then that's hardly getting Levy'd.

I expect he meant we'll be receiving that £30m over the next 10 years, and the £8m after Luka scores 100 league goals. So never.

The only thing the English league is superior in to the Italian league and Spanish league is TV revenue. Tactically and technically the English league is behind the Spanish and Italians.

Due to the various opinions of what would constitute being the best, having the most viewers and generating the most cash would be a good way to rate things no? The problem with saying La Liga plays the best football is that it's based on opinion, same with Serie, A, Bundesliga and the EPL. Then you have to consider the excitement factor, the storylines and everything else. Being the best is not about playing the best football in the grand scheme of things.

The EPL is widely considered the best because of it's impact globally, the impact of it's top teams in the CL, and ing eneral the football played from the worst to the best sides. In the last 15 years, 9 english teams have played in the Champions League final, only 8 Spanish teams, 6 Italian teams and 5 German teams.

Really? Wouldn't that shake out in the Champions League? Where we're had more finalists in the last 15 seasons than anyone else. Spain have two more winners than us but we're the more consistent country. For all this talk of being inferior tactically and technically, it just never seems to amount to much when you compare recent results against the continent.

The best for me is the quality of the football ( subjective, everyone likes different things ) and the competitiveness of the league.

I have a thing for the bundesliga, which should be the next big thing.

Oscar De La Hoya attracted more viewers and money than anyone else. He wasn't the best around at the time though. He had the golden smile and the right backing. The PL is the golden boy of the domestic leagues.

interesting: Makoun replacement for y'villa??
Talks are at an advance stage between Aston Villa and Rennes over the loan of Jean II Makoun, reports Aston Villa's official website.
Makoun, 29, was signed from Lyon in January 2011.

looks like modric deal is gonna kick off a merry go round

Would that then leave a space at Villa to fill... because JJ may find his way back their if they can stomach the risk once more.

it must've been hard for you to fathom how we managed to beat italy's two best teams(at the time) ... and that was with harry as manager, dawson at cb and hudd alongside luka.

Something of a turnaround from his initial statement re Levy getting fucked over on the fee - quelle surprise...Am Genuinely surprised his info is still making it into the itk thread, should surely be in the twitter thread with all the other chancers

I don't believe we are interested in M'Villa. It's just his agent trying to drum up interest.

We need a midfielder with more craft and creativity to replace Modric.

I completely disagree and it is shown in the CL that this is just not true.

Back on topic I believe that the PL is a bigger draw than serie A at the moment. However Juve are a bigger draw than us.

You have to remember Akqayid is almost half a Goat, as he gets most of his information from different sources and each with different levels of quality. Also when he post ITK he puts #SCITK after it otherwise its mostly opinion which why he gets abuse imo
