No chance we get anyone to “compete” with Harry. For the simple reason that there are only a handful of strikers in the world who are at his level - and they are all well out of our price range (this summer, especially).

I’d agree that it would be good to get someone who could play alongside him as well as cover for him, though.

I don't think anyone is suggesting bringing in Lewandowski (the only number 9 that is better than Kane imo) but someone like Edouard would could certainly keep Harry on his toes, play alongside and deputise as required.

Ive bought into the fact that he can't speak Spanish having been there 6 years, which by definition means he isn't integrated into Spanish culture. There is a lot of hypocrisy where this is concerned...fine for us to go abroad and not bother to integrate but not the other way round it seems.

Anyway...as you said, a different thread...

You've definitely bought i to the Madrid hype, as i have listened to him speak Spanish in tv interviews and although slightly stuttering he is fluent.
