tbh i agree i think he has a shit attidue, his played a couple of good seasons at spurs and scored a few vital goals at Madrid but his overpaid, greedy and has put money over his career!

i think he would barely play for us, and would be a waste of money and a massive step back.

totally agree, not his fault tho that they give him such a nut job contract.

agreed. For all the stick that Ndombele has (rightly or wrongly) received regarding his attitude, Bale's attitude and conduct has been horrid. Yes its Real, yes its Perez (who can be an überc...t), yes their fans are ridiculously fickle and obnoxious. However, his conduct, from lack of integrating into the culture and club to the flag, telling ZZ he didn't want to play...just doesn't sit right with me, especially at time in which Jose is trying to build a cohesive unit.

Im sure someone like Inter Miami will be available for him to continue to "build his brand" after the Real deal has finished though.
So you’ve bought into the Madrid media story. You (and I) have no idea if that’s the truth, but my perspective is different. Not for this thread though.

To stay on track, I’d love either him or Zlatan at the club. If the financials stack up.

Is Aarons even that short? Wikipedia has him at 5ft10 (same as Kyle Walker), and Aurier at 5ft9, Rose 5ft8. Keep seeing it mentioned so checked expecting him to be a dwarf. Maybe it’s wrong, but seen that height elsewhere too.

premier league put Aarons at 178, aurier 176 rose 173, Walker peters 173... so he must have shrunk

Yeah exactly. Playing a right footed centre back at left back would be 'less than the highest standard or quality'. Thanks for confirming my point.
@thebenjamin I was not taking the piss. I honestly did not know the meaning of the word so looked it up. I only posted the meaning so that ignoramuses like me can learn. One of those things you learn everyday. No offence was intended

I think either of them (or both) would be a major mistake. They are both well over their peak, and none of them (especially not Zlatan) are team players. It would be a disaster for a budding unit to include either of them.

Ive bought into the fact that he can't speak Spanish having been there 6 years, which by definition means he isn't integrated into Spanish culture. There is a lot of hypocrisy where this is concerned...fine for us to go abroad and not bother to integrate but not the other way round it seems.

Anyway...as you said, a different thread...

Aurier 18m
KWP 12m
Foyth 15m
Lamela 15m

Seems about right to me

Some new report saying we are selling CCV, Amos , Sterling not sure if we selling Roles, Georgiou . If we could sell Sissoko too for 18 mil as it is reported in the news we could have about 60-70 mil minus the PEH fee.

Selling Lamela partly due to the quota so if we do buy a replacement, he has to be a home grown. Grealish? Eze? Is Brooks considered a foreigner? Or we could go for the cheap option Fraser on a free.

RB, CAM, FW, CB 4 possible for 60-70 mil is stretching it

My guess is we're waiting on Saints to complete KWP deal before announcing. Glad it seems done our own end. Seems a key component to Jose's team.

If history serves us well then wholesale changes in multiple positions doesn’t always work however good it looks on paper.

if we get a net result of 4 new additions, all with 1st team aspirations firmly in place then I’ll be happy.

PEH
RB
ST
+1 other I'm expecting

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule though. It simply depends on who is being brought in. I think wholesale changes of players who are new to the league is difficult to get them integrated quickly. But if we signed:

PEH
Aarons
Lewis
Wilson

All are Prem ready and easily slot into and improve what we have today.

Little more from D1:

Sess is going nowhere , Jose does not think he is strong enough to play left back yet but in time will be

calum Wilson is one of five strikers Whose situations we are monitoring , we will be bringing in back up to h

Finally addressing the back up to Harry situation. Give the opposition something to think about and we know Harry will have his standard 2 months glass ankle injury. Jose appears on the ball thus far

You say finally, I understand why we didn’t last season given that the previous three years Llorente and Janssen spent as much time on the pitch between them as the government does thinking through legislation before passing it.

We should not be signing a “back up”. We should be signing someone that can compete and push Harry, as well as someone who could perfectly lead the line if Harry dropped back to 10, or we go 2 up top. This should also be someone with potential who could step up if Harry decide to leave in 12 months. Edouard the obvious choice.
