These guys earn huge amounts. But they are human beings. Who wants to live in Hull?
Do you want your missus in your earole when you get home from work every day?

Of course playing for Hull means you have to live there just like playing for Spurs means you have to live in Tottenham. As bad as some parts of Hull are they are a damn sight nicer than the shit hole that is Tottenham.

Hull may not be the nicest place to live but the surrounding villages are actually some of the nicest parts of the country to live in.

They might be sticking around now, but come the second gameweek of August when about 5 or 6 of them haven't even made a matchday squad at that point, they'll soon accept the offers in for them.

At the moment because of the way we've approached pre-season, a lot of them think they're in with a chance of being in Poch's plans. But we were playing friendlies without 7 internationals and still using 22 per game.

They'll wake up and smell the coffee soon enough

A good point.
I doubt very much that Michael Dawson is living in a flat over the chicken shop in the High Street.

If you're a multi millionaire there is a bit of difference between whats on offer in and around Hull to in and around London.

And a lot of our players are millionaires. A lot of them love to play football and a lot of them have birds who would rather go shopping in the West End.

Or go to the theater, or eat at michelin star restaurants, or who's carer are in London. Or just like being able to nip over to Paris or Milan every other week. They also probably have a circle of friends/contacts that you just don't get in other parts of the country.

London has become a miilionaire/billionaire playground. Everyone who is anyone wants to come here probably more popular than New York these days for the elite.

Ali Z over on Coys said that we are definitely interested in Depay as Rodriguez is not available, he also went on to say he hears Musacchio is close to completion.

Itk of players not wanting to leave Spurs. We're discussing why. But if you want to discuss the other ITK we've had today go ahead... oh there isn't any.
The ITK is that the players dont want to leave. As for why - thats not ITK. Its purely conjecture. And it belongs in a 'why won't players leave' thread. Having lengthy discussion of them taking paycuts or not wanting to live in Hull, just fills this thread with unnecessary pages of posts that are so far removed from from actual ITK.

If theres no ITK then just dont post here. Its quite simple really. Also saves the rest of us the trouble sifting through all these posts to find actual ITK.

Thats all fine and good, but in the meantime, it sucks that we can't pull the squad together sooner - the games in August and September count the same as the ones in April. Its going to take another 3-4 weeks after the deadline to start to see some semblance of a starting XI.

Good whoring sir! Bit late in the day, but every little ITK helps!

Looking forward to getting Musacchio, it's not often a defender whets my whistle, but he does.
