Milik would be a great signing. Could both play with Kane and instead of him. I'm not sure why he would come though, as a player in the prime of his career. Unless, maybe, he sees the possibility of Kane moving on.

Good striker with fantastic numbers. It also confirms that we have money.
It only confirms we have money, IF we trully are interested and make an actual bid. Otherwise all it proves is that the media are same post lockdown, as they were pre lockdown.

He was very sought after when at Ajax and played wide On occasion as well from recollection. If he’s used to sharing minutes with Mertens at Napoli then it won’t be any different here. There’s more than enough minutes to go round.

I’m just glad we are being linked with strikers both by itk and papers.

I'd better add this isn't ITK as it's already picking up informative ratings.

Got a lot going on with the business at the moment so won't be posting too much over this window. If I hear something concrete I'll try to post it or at least let the admin know.

Looks like he's over his worst scare of injuries and picked up the goal scoring-pace. Missed half a season twice after joining Napoli

Let's face it even Llorente had a positive impact on our squad and Milik is a better player and a better fit. I've wanted him here for ages think he would be perfect.

The recent formation Turns into a 4 2 2 2 at times so he could easily come and play with Kane at times

I'm not sure how much of a risk it would be considering he's a free transfer. It's just a question of wage demands but we won't pay overboard anyway. He'll replace Vertonghen who we get no money on and is not good enough anymore. I would not be surprised to get Silva for a season and loan Foyth for a season.
The encouraging sign is he apparently wants to play in the Premier League so must still have the motivation. Otherwise he would go to China or Qatar for one big final pay day.

China have capped salaries at £50k per week now, so no big paydays anymore.

I haven't watched him for a while is he still physically fit and sharp? The only problem I could see is if he see's us as a retirement village and stops putting in the effort. Otherwise if he's fit and sharp he would add some quality to what we have now.
He is and he has been notable injury free for quite a few years now, which is always a positive sign. Additionally he's only played 3/4 of a season with Ligue 1 finishing early, so fitness wise he should be in good shape and IMO has one strong season left in him, which is exactly what we need right now - a world class CB that can come in and sure up our defence until we have the funds (hopefully next summer) to properly fill that position.

Milik would be a great signing. I've enjoyed watching him since his early Górnik days. He's miles better than Piątek and played brilliantly in the national team with Lewandowski in a 4-4-2. He should certainly do the job here. But, there are few caveats to the story.

1. There are strong rumours in Poland that he's going to join Juventus in the summer. He's got fellow Pole in Szczęsny there (who's popular in the dressing room), he knows the league and would probably earn more that at Tottenham. Would De Laurentiis sell him to Juve?
2. He had serious injuries. He twice ruptured his ACL. Every player returning from such an injury will have problems and the probability of such injury ocurring once again is significantly higher. Consider the difference of intensity in the Premier League vs Serie A. A massive question mark.
3. Don't rely on him getting the job done. Every striker misses a sitter, but he's got a reputation of missing certain goals, especially in the National Team. If my life would depend on Milik's finishing, I'd certainly be worried.

I couldn’t bare another Soldado. Or another Janssen. I don’t mean they’re all similar but that they couldn’t score for us. It was awful, a bit like watching your favourite puppy swimming through a wide crocodile infested river. I’m not ready for that kind of anxiety again

To complete the analogy the river would need to be lined with blokes shouting "EAT THAT SLOW, USELESS PRICK", "NEVER LIKED THAT OVERPRICED PUP ANYWAY", "FFS ROVER".

Mourinho can be a very big pull for players, and we’ll be competing on multiple fronts next season so lots of game time for everyone.

milik is a great dead ball specialist too. not a bad free kick taker too. if we keep him injury free then it's a good option to have
