I hop hercs hearings that many of iur club directors see the season null n void tbh I pray season us made null and void pronto .... this is the only and best situation for us in footballing terms. The way we were going and playing and being managed we would be lucky being in top half of the league and i dont say that lightly or in jest. Null and Void now and give lewis and DL few months to decide on JM. .... please null and void now have only the cherry on top of a scouse denial and few funny clips of carragher being spitting mad. No cherry on top related to spurs bar being not further humilated on the pitch and league position

Levy's statement in the financial accounts mentioned that they want to finish the season:

“You will have noticed that we have, as a necessity, ceased all fan-facing operations. With such uncertainty we shall all need to work together to ensure the impact of this crisis does not undermine the future stability of the Club. This will include working with the wider football industry and its stakeholders to seek to restore the season – but only when it is safe and practical to do so.

Where do you stand on the season being declared null and void though?

All is conjecture, pointless at that, at the moment. I believe, based on China, that we have at least 3 months of stringent restrictions. Football is an irrelevancy apart from those who make their living directly or indirectly through the sport

With all the best will in the world, agents will not want their clients playing out the season into July, for a whole list of reasons. Players not keen neither.
So I don’t see where this is going. End of April just season is null and void. John Barnes’ proposal is so idiotic, unfounded, and biased. It really not worth a comment.

Not sure that Levy feels that he has anything to decide on Mourinho.

You'd think so, but if the season was declared null and void we'd possibly be in the Champions league next season.

(y) hence one of my reasons and my eagerness for a null and void season, lets be honest we wouldnt be there on merit if we finished the season lol, at least a null n void season means wed be there due to being finalists in the most recent CL final ? albeit being cheated by bought slovenian officials on and off the pitch??

not having any more football this season is making it very difficult to asses JM. I would have preferred to asses his performance over the next few months as he really appeared to be on the downward slide

now we have to guess

I hear you, but personally and most diplomatic and nice way i can explain is I dont think we need to see more of JM, he was a great in the game but football has moved on, style n tactics have moved on, the way of managing players has moved on unfortnately he has not, sometimes things are just not and never meant to be and realising that quickly and taking action is far better for the future of us and him (Mainly us).

I'd be very surprised if Levy feels the same. Not ruling it out but on balance I can't see him removing Mourinho.

What did he propose?

He proposed that you've got to hold and give but do it at the right time, you can be slow or fast but you must get to the line.

He warned that they'll always hit you and hurt you, defend and attack.

And that there's only one way to beat them, get round the back.

‘Obviously safety is the most important thing, but I think the best thing to do is to allow this season to take place, however long it takes.

‘There’s no need to rush back. Now that the Euros has been postponed, even if you play one game a week from October, then the season goes on to January or February.

‘Then you can have a proper pre-season and kick-start the new season at the right time rather than be playing catch-up for years.’

Which is exactly what will happen now the season has been extended indefinitely.

That would cost an entire season's worth of broadcast revenue though wouldn't it? Using next season to complete this one will cost the clubs 2 sets of TV revenue payments instead of just the 1.
