Gedson Fernandes. I know this thread is closing soon, but what I have to say has to be said here. I believe he will be successful, but the 50m Euros option is way off the mark. We win PL/CL as example, and he plays ‘x’ amount of games, with ‘x’ amount of this, and ‘x’ amount of that, then we would be paying 50m. Hope that makes sense

Cheers Herc,

Even if we win one of the league titles, that would end up being a brilliant investment.

Might need to be as main striker. Assuming Poch goes to ManU and Kane leaves a sinking ship
Just go out and buy Haaland then if we're living in some assumed universe with the cash ...

Maybe we could tempt Messi while we're at it?

Fuck a duck.

Not sure who we will get for £30 mill and £90,000 a week but it won’t be anyone of class and youngsters are not likely to be tempted by JM or a club that has lost its way

Oh come on we've spent a lot more on players and wages since our last 30mil purchase of Sissokko. I get the negativity ATM, but realing out a 3 year old rhetoric to get your point across is just silly.

It's really hard to have a debate with someone quoting numbers and unsubstantiated rubbish on here sometimes.

Sometimes you get the feeling that some fans have lost their way more than the club has.
I swear it wasn't this bad under Jol, Ramos and Redknapp. Even when we had two points from eight games there was a lot less shit and a lot more gallows humour.

Jose wants Osimhen as CF option/rotation. Third time I've heard this now, from 3 different sources.
Yeah but what world class striker wants to come to Spurs and be back up for Kane? And we've got Son and Lucas that are both CF and what player could we possibly identify that wants to come to us.

Get it done Levy FFS.

100% this. I'm not joking, after the loss to Norwich I saw fans on twitter saying things like:

"The club is dying"
"We're finished as a football club"

I mean honestly, the melodramatic overreactions are off the scale at the moment.

"We are back being a mid-table club"

Haven't finished mid-table for years.

I can't speak for everyone but I was always content with what Levy was doing all be it a bit frustrated at the transfer shenanigans. When he sacked Poch after not backing him in the previous windows I lost all empathy. Mourinho has walked into a bit of a shit show so I don't blame him but we are all over the place as a playing squad at the moment.

Under Jol, Ramos and Redknapp I felt most of those were justified sackings at the time. Redknapp showed no loyalty to us with the England thing, Ramos was hated by the squad and Jol just didn't have what it took for the next step. Poch had delivered season after season and even after that bad run of games I think he deserved a season to transition the squad after a period of under-investment.

People talk about taking the next steps with Mourinho and that will take some severe investment. I can't see him being given the time or the money so what was the point in sacking a manager that is proven in the circumstance.

Trust SC to turn even a positive piece of ITK into a ball of negativity.

Anyways cheers for the info Trix, He looks decent from what I've seen of him.

There is no positive ITK from the Manager side. That ITK has to live after it meets the reality of Levy. We've heard lot's of Poch wants over the years but it has to get through Levy and turn into reality.

Wanting players and getting them are two different things as we know. Cheers for the update though, he’s looked a good player a couple of times I’ve seen him and despite my reservations about buying players from France, he looks perfect for the PL.

thanks, Trix.

Some people still don't get it. Who's gonna come and sit on our bench? Fck off.

We need different ways of playing, in four (or perhaps three :) next season) comps. A second striker of quality,, not a wide attacker, is needed. Parrott out on loan.

Lucas is capable of brilliance on his day but during this tough period he's been shown up as a dis-connector of play. Sell.

I like Oshimen

But the one we really need to bring in from Lille is Luis Campos. We desperately need an overhaul of the scouting and player acquisition department, because our recent record in that respect has been very poor...

Thank you for sharing.

I’ve watched a bit of him since his name started getting mentioned, seems like he has enough about him to lead the line in place of Kane, but is different enough to Kane that they could pair up too. Very predatorial instinct when in the box, also very powerful and athletic.

Plus we need a new big Vic!
