Everton have had a dreadful dreadful few days. Deals hijacked & lost left right & center .

Arsenal hijacked Perez deal.
Gabbiadini almost agreed, but stayed at Napoli at last moment.
Brahimi deal almost agreed at 35mEur, then Porto said no.
Plane ready in tarmac. Sissoko switches off phone & agrees to us.

They had a scatter gun approach & ultimately failed. Something we did for number of transfer window.

I feel for them...only just.

They'll probably announce the appointment of Paul Mitchell in a few days time...

ali z: Let me add he is not instead of Isco/Coric but was always part of Pochs plan to have 2 for each position only thing he never got was AMC.

That's the difference between a great window and an average one.

The AMC was imperative in my book.

Why do people care what players cost? Do you think Levy will put your ST price down if we spend less on players?? Unless it is going to bankrupt us, pay what we need to get the best team! The price of that roam makes no difference to me.

I still think we have a deal in for isco for like next summer. But that's for the summer 2017 thread.

I think Sissoko was one of the reasons that NUFC did so well against us over the last season or two. If Poch can work his magic he could be great for us.

Never thought we would break our transfer record for an unwanted championship player.

Wonder if it was £30 million in the end.

Let's get a bit of perspective here, Sissoko looked an average player around very below average players at Newcastle yet he looked a world class player at the euros surrounded by world class players, I think he will be good in our nearly world class team plus with poch training him he will be a great player in time, let's break the mould for a change and get behind the player and the club and also keep in mind once the new stadium arrives we can then challenge for the Isco's and Bales of the football world.

1. I highly doubt the price will reach £30 million

2. If poch wants him as reported then let's see what he can do with him

3. People moan we don't back managers and spend money and Levy has done that with this signing

4. This transfer window money wise is crazy due to clubs having more money. So it's pointless comparing it to past Windows.

5. We all love Tottenham on this site so let's now get behind the team and enjoy a successful season
