Hertyid in direct contradiction with tomorrows rags, tend to believe more from him. No matter if some share part of his views, this mutinous dressing room slant seems as much of a hatchet job on the club as anything, I'm more inclined to think his team mates were pissed off.
No. Hertyid did not say players were pissed as well. Just said Poch wasnt the only one. It was SC who took it mean players. But it could be coaches and also be Daniel Levy(in fact, im sure it is Levy). Why would it be the players? They want to be paid market rate as well. They want to win trophies as well.

"RIGHT ROSE YOU BASTARD, I'M THE DANNY NOW, NEXT TIME, I'LL KILL YA!"

"I'M THE F***ING ING DANNY NOW!!"
Ps Yep thanks Goat. As you can see above the last 48 hours I've bern losing my sh*t. Nice to hear some positive ITK keeping me from rocking, all curled up in the corner of my darkened room...

Let's see:-

Disrespecting the club
Disrespecting Poch
Disrespecting the fringe players
Unprofessionalism shown by speaking to a newspaper without telling the club
Bringing a media shitstorm down on the club right on the eve of the new season

Think it's fair some players would have issue with the above, even if they shared a lot of his views, as I do personally.

There's absolutely no need to tell anyone Levy is angry, of course he would be. The other coaches aren't important enough for it to be just them so it has to include some players. Most likely the ones he inferred weren't good enough

Yeah, why would the players be angry after he said we had no one on the bench, after he said he had to google players.
I imagine too they are very happy he did this a few days before the opening game
So yeah, why would they be angry?

Like most things in the world things are probably more complicated and in the void of a response from Spurs you can choose any spin you want. The media will side with chaos and damnation. Internal will side with order and control. Time will tell.

Goat

The Goat hears that the hold up with Barkley isn't at our end, it's due to Everton not wanting to weaken their bargaining position with Swansea. The Goat's source says to expect Barkley to arrive as soon as they sign Sigurdsson.

The Goat also hears that Barkley wants Spurs, he's convinced Pochettino will make him a top class player.

It quite obviously meant players.

Levy doesn't spend his days hanging around the training pitches.

I'm no BSoDL, but this endless crusade to tie every single thing you read and every single post you make (and you make a lot of them) into some new way to bash Levy is getting beyond tiresome.

You didn't even know that everyone in Britain fucking hates The Sun, and thought the hatred was just BSoDL's trying to find an angle to defend him, FFS.

I'm struggling to get my head around the fact we're surprised our players might be getting pissed off at working for below market rate, while simultaneously seeing none of the squad investment they've been promised coming to fruition.

Meanwhile they see us selling on players like Walker and Fazio for far more than they're worth with the funds not being used to strengthen the squad.

Our players are largely not Tottenham fans, they all know they could earn money elsewhere, and they want to win stuff - which realistically isn't going to happen here until we spend some damn money.

I love this idea that the players are so angry at not getting paid enough and the club not spending enough (despite none of them complaining about money, all of them happily signing their contracts last year and several of them saying we don't need to buy players).

Why would they be "angry" about it? I'm sure most of them couldn't care less. And if they're not happy it's quite simple for them - stop signing contracts and tell the club you'd like to leave, if you're that bothered.

This boiling rage that a bunch of 20-something footballers apparently have seems unusual that it only effects the ones playing for Spurs. I'm actually fairly certain most of them rarely if ever think much about club investment and generally just enjoy getting paid a fortune for running about a bit and playing Xbox in their spare time.

You make them sound like a bunch of angsty teenagers shut in their bedrooms raging at the shit hand life has dealt them.
