I aim to please! ;)

Seriously though, the Borussia Dortmund model from top to bottom is one which we should realistically aspire to without the need of a wealthy benefactor/oligarch - not to mention if we can replicate anything like their stadium then we are on to a winner!
Their stadium atmosphere really is awesome

At a Jewish club? He'd get cruxified.

Well at least that would improve our crosses.

i love moyes for the simple reason he makes his players work their fucking nuts off for 90 minutes. i think spurs players get away with murder at times with reagrds work rate and think there is at least another 20 % at least to be got from alot of spurs first team and also moyes strikes me as a man not to be messed with either.

personally though i think its moyes or mourinho lined up for united.

martinez make us exciting?????? lets just say i disagree lol!!! no chance.
AVB is a kid in terms of management and how anyone can say him after his efforts at chelsea is nonsense. let him do his time for next 10 years and look at him then.
benitez is the one id be in total dread of but my god if he was in id walk and thats no lie.

I find it funny that so many SCers seem to think Moyes is totally below us, and yet nhe is considered a credible candidate to take over UInited, and, some say, he is Beetroot Head's preferred choice.

You misunderstood about Martinez, I was joking - he would make us exciting going forward (i.e. I was omitting to mention what would be going on at the back...but it could be hideous :)). He may actually surprise folk if he got a big job, though.

AVB is far from easy to write off. If you go back to last Summer (not suggesting you do) you will see that I was very focal in stating that he him and Chelsea were a disaster waiting to happen, and a lot of what I suggested could happen, did happen (this while a lot of folk on here was sheeee-iting their panties at how awesome he was gonna be). So I am not just jumping on a bandwagon in saying he may be worth a go for us (in fact a lot of the sychophants of lat Summer probably now thing he is worse than Alex McLeish). But he certainly wouldn't be my first choice.

In terms of on the pitch, I could live with seeing Redknapp in charge - but he just won;t keep his fecking mouth shut.

Like I said, if I had to choose someone now, someone I would consider credible even if other candidates were available (which would probably rule out the likes of Martinez), I would try for Moyes (not forgetting that Everton are a big club and we have to show that some respect).

I'm sorry, this makes no sense whatsoever.

The French national team was a collection of highly talented players in the charge of a nutter. They would surely have been so relieved to get anyone who wasn't as mad as a box of frogs that they'd have responded positively.

Where do you think Dortmund were before Klopp took over?

You don't mean...SpursKing...:eek::eek::eek:

I just can't believe that with all this talk of potential managers so few people actually mention Capello. Yes maybe a preferred option would be a younger manager to build for the long term, but Capello has never eally failed at club level.

Good point. I'd be very happy with Capello.

Seemed to be going senile with some of his decisions with England, and his standard of English isnt really up to scratch for someone who had years to learn it. This would worry me after the Ramos debacle. Indeed, for England there were numerous examples of him not communicating with the players and this causing grief.

Cant argue with his club record though, I agree.

Perhaps you could point out where I wrote that Blanc is 'no good'. You may have problems expressing yourself clearly and succinctly (or 'succulently', as you put it); I don't. You seem to have difficulty understanding English as well. I asked why you believed Klopp to be a risk, and Blanc not. You've still failed to provide an answer.

Perhaps you didn't understand the question. As the other night you 'disagreed' with a factual statement I made, this doesn't entirely surprise me.

Well done for pointing out a typo/autocorrect error, Sherlock fucking Holmes eat your heart out.

No I think what is clear is that I like to come in here and discuss things and you like to come in here and belittle and offend people (since you want to bring up the other night, what about your "immigrants" nickname for the emirates stadium which I pulled you up on as being offensive, fail to recollect that). Re: the disagreement that still pains you, I explained myself in my following post after that-but in between me disagreeing and typing my post you came along and had a moan about my disagreement.

I thought my post was pretty clear anyway, Blanc has achieved success with a team he built with the technical staff at Bordeaux, and has turned around a flailing national team. Blanc had also played in the Premier League, he knows what it is about.

Klopp is more of a risk as he has achieved success in only the German league, and had benefitted from the fantastic scouting and technical structure that has allowed Dortmund to acquire and develop the quality of Kagawa, Lewandowski, Goetze, Blaszczykowski and Piszczek.

Your comments on the Blanc's success with France being the simple case of it being anyone but Domenech, shows just how ridiculous your opinion of Blanc and his achievements is.

Where I respect people like Riandor and Misfit who come in here and put their points across in a friendly manner, people like you come to show off how big your knob is when all that ends up happening is you show off how big a knob you are.

Goodnight.

I can't read Harry's mind, but you can be damn sure that if he was leaving (with the turmoil that is going on, albeit exaggerated) he wouldn't let it be known to anyone when there exists the potential to gain compensation money. He has enough people surrounding him to tell him that. So neither I, nor anyone else not within the close personal circle of Redknapp, can state with confidence that he is or is not leaving this weekend. However, I do know that the club are not preparing to sack him.

Morning all. Just skimmed the ten or so pages and think that, outside of all the bickering, there has been some good discussion. Anyhow, I don't think Harry will go, but if he does, Moyes would be the ideal replacement.

Well said. If there was an award for the most condescending, scornful and generally unpleasant poster, SS57 would get my vote every time.

As much as there has been 0 ITK linking us with any manager its safe to say losing Redknapp wouldn't be the end of the world.
From the list of managers that are out of work there is a great list. Some like some and some like others but when you just list 3 or 4 like Cappello, Van Gaal, AVB and Benitez, each one of those is a proven winner and has their own merits. If HR was offered a contract during the season when England were knocking and turned it down, now is a really dumb time to be plying hard-ball.
That kind of foolishness can lose you a job.
