I like the sound of us going after Bowen and the lad from Norwich. That’s been our modus operandi for so long now, pick up youngsters and develop them and more often than not it’s worked out for us.

If we are after a young right back that doesn’t bode well for KWP though does it.

Unless we want to shift Trippier and/or Aurier. I can see KWP becoming a specialised utility player. His reliability will shine through, I'm sure of it, and his versatility will get him chances.

Where does the Hull kid plays? RW? LW? CM? CAM?

KWP as backup for Rose at LB
Davies as backup for Verts as LCB
Norwich kid as backup for Trippier/Aurier whoever stays

Would cover our defence quite well. Foyth and Sanchez are both RCB i believe we do not have a left footer CB so Davies is a good cover

We have no LB in the younger squad who appear to be ready

Apparently Aaron's can play on either side, but prefers RB. A bit like KWP really.

No team really need 3 GKs to fight for 1 spot though. Having 2 senior GKs with a youth product as third choice should be fine.

Vorm, we should know by now is offskies in the summer. So I am informed
Never had a problem with Vorm. Have to say we got lucky with the amount of back up keepers who don't kick up a fuss and are still reliable for the most part when called upon. In this case Gazza has gone above him, and could earn Hugo's spot in the near future too.

A young English keeper to grow and improve would be the move that makes sense. Hard to see the likes of a Pope coming unless he was first choice.

No issues with Vorm, been a reliable enough backup who has been passed by Gazza. If he had an opportunity now we shouldn’t stand in his way.

A half decent mature keeper from the lower leagues would do. Whoever it would be would be 3rd choice and would get hardly any games so no need to pay big for a prospect.
