Grealish prepped to travel down today. Clubs are closer now so as long as no last minute swerves we should be good to go. Terms with the player and agent all agreed, and have been for ages.

One today one tomorrow I'm told is the play, but the way this window has been don't count anything out including Martial.

Thanks for update. As things are I would say Martial is the most likely one (and always had a sneaky feeling we would get him, it's the only way Levy can save face in this window), as this is the most progressed. We must definetely have already discussed basic terms and agreed in principle with him (if he visited us twice), he wants to leave Utd, and we have Toby as leverage.
All other names we were linked to, are very far......

So, if Jack signs today and Martial is potentially in the works as a 3rd signing, the mystery 2nd signing tomorrow would likely be a defender, assuming Toby's out... Either that or a versatile CDM/CM like Sander "Clegane" Berge

If that's how it plays out, I'd call it a pretty smashing success considering the pessimistic narrative throughout the window. Bolster much needed CM and Attacker positions, and increase depth to the point of it being a strength - apart from several questions about our backline if anything goes amiss. Though all in all, much better than most might've guessed this week

Hoping we get Grealish and nothing goes wrongs, gives that bit of cover. Would be very excited to get Martial, always really thought he’d be a great addition just thought a CM was more important and who knows now we may get all 3! I don’t know how I have remained optimistic but don’t let me down little bald man or I may even start doubting Santa!

I’m reading Trix’s latest itk as confirmation of it being a Toby/Martial swap deal or no deal which is excellent news. If this doesn’t happen, does it then effect the type of player we go for as mystery player #2?

Had a punt on Grealish so from a personal perspective this is good news: my 407 children get new shoes.

On a more speculative note, the Martial point is the real touch paper to emblaze our febrile imaginations. Less than 34 hours to go and it sounds like anything can happen. This place now steps up to match Arkham Asylum in the loony stakes

Well that’s a nice way to start the morning off. Thanks trix. Sounds realistic too. Just so hope we can land martial as well. What a boost that would give everyone going into Saturday and he’s had a pretty season with Utd. Up until the last couple of weeks
