Good to hear from JJ, he has been quiet this window but always good to hear another ITK with confidence. Gawd bless ITKS!

Going on everything Herc has said, we must be confident of trimming the fat with any two of the more obvious candidates leaving, otherwise I can’t overly reconcile it.

Pleased about the Ndombele update but it is at odds with so much of what we hear that I’m not going to start the conga line just yet.

herc said tanguy is staying?

He made a decision to not involve himself heavily on sc as he received such over the top analysis on his posts, that - so I believe - he was pretty exhausted with it all. Can’t blame him... one word or letter in ITK gets twisted into a totally different perspective

I think with the itk seeming to lean more and more to us signing someone from overseas, the likelihood is that this player will have to quarantine for a week on arrival, meaning that September is probably already a write off in terms of having that player and our signing will sadly be closer to the deadline/ during the next international break.
Unless they are already quarantining in preparation for it...

Jiminez is a class above the other strikers we’ve been linked to. I can see Wolves/Mendes looking at possibly moving him on to keep their operations moving, José would deffo approve too! And having a fit and motivated Ndombele is probably something we’d all want to see and have at the club, I mean, that was the whole point in signing him. He’s clearly a massive talent. Cheers ITK’ers ?

Would explain alot. JJ seems pretty confident and it seems we just need to be patient, the club wouldn't want to announce without a shirt holding etc so if said player is signed we could be waiting until any quarantine is over to announce.

Would also explain why other players we were linked too are starting to make their moves as we would have given intention that we were no longer interested.

I like this theory therefore I'm going to choose to believe it rather than believe we haven't got a clue who we are getting!

Ornstein via Athletic: Spurs do NOT yet have a firm attacking target in mind.

JJ’s confidence gives me the feeling that we’re just waiting to offload Aurier or Foyth to free up a squad spot and then we’ll pull the trigger on the striker signing.

Good to see JJ is still confident & that things are still on track ?
Hopefully this means things are different this window as we heard similar noises in January.
?with still a few weeks to go we can wrap this striker up.

I'd be more confident if we weren't waiting to offload those first. Anything can happen when you are trying to resolve 3 separate situations at once.
