Window is still technically open until the 16th still for Premiership and EFL club transfers, isn't it?

That suggests we are looking at upto 3 championship Center Backs. There are certainly not 3 Center Backs in the championship good enough to come into our team or at anywhere near skriniar level. I think we would be better off trying to sort something with inter & skriniar in January, than just chase another body for the sake of it.

I don’t get it either. After what’s seemed to be a very targeted and precise window, we now seem to be stumbling around again to sign a CB just for the sake of it.

Seems sensible enough. Assuming the other two are of a similar profile to Rodon, if we can’t get the top class player we ideally wanted then we’ re better off going after someone with the potential to get there who’d understudy the current lot then go for someone not as good as the plan A who will never be as good as the plan A.

Hmm, literally don’t think there’s any more in the championship who have the ceiling Rodon has. Certainly none besides him with a higher ceiling than Japh. Unless we’re looking at someone really young as a developmental centre-half or somebody short-term to provide cover until Jan/next summer.

No, not someone from PSG either.

It was about Eriksen ( I think) and it was all about bringing home the bacon. Only Lurpak is butter and Danepak was the brand name they were looking for.
