So

Coutinho - Off - VY - “forget Coutinho”
GLC - Very Unlikely - Herc - “failed on GLC. If that happens, which seems likely”

BF - positive vibes

Dybala - ??? - serious finger crossing needed. Fee agreed a big positive tho

This thread isn't for your opinions on what kind of window, who we might sign that would make this into an acceptable window, wishlists.

Yet people still gamble with their access. Stop wasting your time A&C just ban them, they are outing themselves as simple. No, don't do it A&C, it's harsh, its the last knockings....why are you talking to yourself A&C? It's a sign of madness.............Its because those fucking numbutted idiots won't listen A&C isn't it?

Yes A&C, yes it fucking is.

last night was like the sniff of the wife's pants you have been longing for all year. But by the sounds of it, the door is well and truly closed now for another year.
Its the hope that kills you.

This is why most brothels are successfully run businesses. Too bad we can't go to one to sign players for our team.

I haven’t heard Coutinho is off! Though it looks to be the case. Reason; Barca has told him in no uncertain terms ‘WE DO NOT LOVE OR WANT YOU ANYMORE, YOU MOODY GIT. FIND ANOTHER CLUB’. Will he accept that?

We still didn't hear any negative news, lol. *Unless you want 4 of them signed today.

I think there are a couple of points that have been made clear by ITK and Tier 1 sources in this transfer window regardless of outcomes and I am pretty excited about the second. Deals for top players are not easy to make for any club. Look at what Man U have endured trying to rid themselves of Pogba and Lukaku, us for Eriksen, Real for Bale, Barcelona for Coutinho, PSG for Neymar, Icardi, etc. The complexities related to their contracts, their egos, their imaging, their stardom in general makes these deals really hard to do.

On the positive side, I can't recall a transfer window in the last 10 since I have followed where we have been more than credibly linked to the likes of Dybala, Bale, and Coutinho at various points to go along with up and coming players like Ndombole, GLC, Atal, and Bruno. Again, these deals are not easy to do. It's an odds game and we may not get it all done in one window, BUT on the positive side this should be our new bar going forward and I am glad that we are credibly trying. Batting 40% (Bruno and Ndombole) in this market is not a bad thing. If we land 3 that is a higher success rate than many other big clubs have been having.

On another note being in the States, it's refreshing to wake up and turn on Sirius Football Show and it be dominated by Tottenham talk or to open up a Fox Sports article and read England Giants, Tottenham, close to signing Dybala...

If we get Bruno and Sess over the line this has been a solid window and I don't see it as more of the same from the past. There are Dybala's and Coutinho's either now or in our future. Levy didn't hold a press conference to discuss spending money for there to be a lack of intent. That is the lesson of this window for me.
