If they aren't willing to give up Martial in their pursuit of Toby or even Rose then Levy won't deal with them. There's no-one more stubborn than Levy, especially as he's dealing with a direct rival, he'll expect Manure to give up Martial at the very least.

Imo no Martial to us would scupper completely any chance of them signing Toby. It has to work both ways doesn't it?
No. If they meet Levy's valuation, we will sell.

We simply don't have the luxury of not getting full price for Toby, and there are less than 5 clubs in the world that fit the criteria of affording the transfer fee and Toby's desired wages. Barça look out after re-signing Umtiti, Madrid do not seem to have a need at CB - that really leaves the Manchester clubs and PSG as realistic alternatives. So, if you throw out the Manchester clubs - you are only dealing with PSG - not a good bargaining position.

Tbf we all thought the same would happen last year with Walker/Sancho but he ended up at Dortmund

All true, but sometimes you just have to draw a line in the sand. Now we're letting United ride roughshod over us. Also not a comfortable position...

Where is the "would or would not ManUtd sell Martial to us and would or would not Levy sell Alderweireld to ManUtd if ManUtd wouldn't sell Martial to us"-thread? I'd like to discuss something in it about ManCity and Sancho.

I REALLY hope so or at least we get what we WANT

How much do we really want martial though? How much do Utd want Toby? More than we want rid? Seems we don't want him from hercs info.

It will be discussed between porch and levy and they will make a decision. The rest of us can be outraged as much as we want it ain't worth a wank.

OK
but if this IS what Poch wants then I hope this is the first step to supporting our manager

Another day another guessing game. Where is the ITK?

Hidden as invisible text in A&C's first post. It's at the bottom, just highlight the post and you should see it!

EDIT: It could be complete crap, and as it's A&C, probably is! :cautious:

I am leaning this way more and more. I hate selling to rivals but lets be honest is Spurs not selling to United really going to damage them. They can chuck plenty of money at a problem position. To me their real issue is the manager having taken them as far as he can. Don't think Toby will change that.

Unless they also have a player that interest us

I think the discussion is probably valid considering Herc’s Martial comment later last night coupled with the Toby stuff. Some are not on here 24 hours a day. Something a little more solid than D Day messages that may or may not be cryptics. More German or French players?

I feel like this D-day thing may be as simple as correlating to the Martial article last night that had us meeting Man Utd officials today. D-day for Martial and Toby negotiations, the club will have a much clearer idea of where it all stands after today
