Levy can do deals from Miami guys, he doesn't need to be sat in his office in London. This should be obvious but some of you seem to have forgotten about the technology available nowadays

100% this. And apart of technology, one should also assume he has representatives ‘in the field’ working behind the scenes as well.

the transfer window closes at 5pm uk time so it would make more sense for him to be in the same timezone at least but a few sleepless nights wouldn't hurt him I suppose.

This. Let Levy develop some new property somewhere and leave the running of the football club to the professionals...

The thing is, A DOF would be sacked by DL for this shitshow year after year. I know BSoDL are saying it's not over yet and we have two days still for the master negotiator to do his shit, but even if we pull it off this time the way we are going about it as a club year after year shows how amateurish we go about our transfer business.

The idea that Levy is a one man band running around sorting out transfers is laughable!!

I am not entirely sure how many staff we have involved but I would guess at least 20 employees dedicated to sorting transfer negotiations.

At my company, when we are in negotiations (for financial services) we usually have 5 or 6 of us in most meetings.

I can’t imagine herc posting levy in Miami in bold, when we all already know he is (as Pochettino wouldn’t make that up) can be anything other than an allusion to Coutinho negotiations. Additionally, our money being allegedly not enough, well of that’s the case I hope that we’ve at least identified players for whom our money is enough, even if it’s a reversion to buying those who are currently 7/10s with potential to be 10/10s.

Ultimately we have more than enough in our squad, even sans Eriksen, to put out a great first xi. It’s when the injuries and suspensions hit that we’ll struggle, so Poch first choice or not, we need to make sure that the depth is there regardless of whether it’s a Poch choice or not, because if Lo Celso or Bruno or Coutinho are unobtainable then frankly there are good enough obtainable players who, surrounded by our majority excellent players, will do more than we enough.

Daniel Levy IS IN Miami!

I know Levy can do deals from all over the world but honestly, in the probably most important and busy week of the year (I know he does not only do Transfers but still) he should be in the Headquarters or at least in the same time zone.

Given the number of transfers we make, I don't think he needs that much help to be honest.

My guess is Utd are reluctant over Eriksen and Levy is crapping himself. We are letting Eriksen's future dictate our window I suspect.

This feels like such a key window, we need to ensure we come out well or the consequences of failure are surely too dire.
Yep agree totally that Levy is crapping himself. He too would want to succeed but he is just so fucking ridiculously stubborn about being the winner on EVERY deal. I imagine there would be some incredibly intimate debate going on between Poch and himself just now.

From the rumors I've heard from people involved in the building of the new ground, Levy needs very little sleep anyway, so i doubt being in a different time zone matter too much to him
