What Ali Z was saying, about us not wanting Martial.

As Trix, Gards and Hercules have now all suggested, we will get Martial if we can.

That’s not how I read the latest ITK, mate. I read it as United certainly not pushing Martial towards us as Ali Z alluded to.
I was referring to this post from Trix:

Yep, and for the record I agree with him. If we can get Martial we will.

Absolutely under no circumstances can we let players like Janssen, GKN etc let us stand in the way of missing out on a player like Martial. Levy simply has to take a chance that even for a knock down loan players on the fringes of a Champions League team will generate interest in the last few weeks of the European market.

We aren't asking for continuous risks, just a gamble every now and then. Janssen & GKN need to go somewhere like Vitesse Arnhem, Nice, Parma or someone like that. Surely they will have some interest before the window closes. Levy needs to roll the dice

Cough...Stevenage :D

I think DL is letting Mourinho do his thing which is only improving our negotiating position. Man he really is an irritating bore.

I think if we hold firm and demand Martial in the deal we'll get him, assuming the amount we offer is fair. This should be done already, Toby + 15 million for Martial. Both clubs still have other deals to do and there's not time to waste for haggling over this one. It's an obviously good for both parties deal.

Off we hold firm and are prepared to risk losing Toby for £25m next summer we have a strong chance. If the club have decided that Toby absolutely must be sold I don't think we'll get Martial.

There's a slither of opportunity, it just depends on how much we're prepared to lose on our only leverage regarding a possible deal
