Oh. Still, a whole ham, must be at least a Selfridges hamper. Maybe even a Fortnum's one.

So, how would everyone feel about Gylfi being sold? I thin it would be a shame personally. Maybe little Tommy Carroll has seriously been impressing Andre this summer and will get a serious chance to battle it out for the AM spot with Holtby this season.

I thought Gylfi was really starting to show his quality towards the end of last season when we started playing more as a wide forward. I think that's his position more than a central midfielder but he does have that versatility which is good.

I wouldn't sell him unless someone else is coming in.

THFC official twitter have said that Soldado will wear number 9 next season. This is the only Premier League number they have released.
1) assume more signings who may have ties to certain numbers may be coming in
2) surely they should follow up by assigning number 11!

I've only skim read 10 pages or so today, and I read it asked of you countless times to stop facing ITKs off against each other and going over track records.

Can no-one else read?

ITK is simple. You just add salt to everything. Treat all of it as a bit of fun and things will be fine.

Start trusting it and things will go bad for you.

What! Why wasn't I told this when I joined.

Could contradictions and recent positive Bale info come via Barnett camp due resignation that he may eventually stay ie. they pushed for move, Gareth wanted it badly and now as it seems it may not come thru, they want to smooth things in case he ends up staying?
Very possible, a raft of 'Gareth's a nice guy' stuff should have the effect of stopping the fans turning.
I appreciate that the average fan doesn't go through it like us forum fiends but even so, they will want to ensure he gets a rapturous reception should he stay.

I'm pretty sure it has been said AVB likes Siggy, plus w/ Dempsey's sale, selling Siggy leaves us shorter on versatile players! What indication is there that Siggy will be sold, what would be the point?

The hampers are made up so they can be from wherever you choose really. :)

GYLFI SHOULD STAY, he's young, versatile enough to cover more than one position and seemed to be coming into his own by the end of the season. If he did nothing this year or was maginalised, then fair enough, but now is too soon to call quits.
Yes. I'd agree with this. We'll know in a few weeks anyway but the thing that could work against Gylfi again is that he might be viewed as the utility player that Clint was last season. Play him regularly at AM and we'll see thebest of him. Don't think that'll ever happen here, injuries aside.

But no one seems to be listening. :banghead:
Thank you for the great news! Do you know why the club has not made some sort of statement, if nothing more just to stop this disrupting our start if the season.

Sorry if you don't have access to this sort of info.

haha, seems we think very differently then. I can see him adapting for sure, as a winger/wife forward who cuts in. He'll only ever be dangerous centrally though, imo. He's not a wide midfielder. Agree with you though, he was starting to settle at the end of last season.

It's only for some much needed minutes for those that have had tournaments and just started training or back in training after injury. If the likes of Sandro get some time on Wednesday without any setback, then he is closer to a return for a full proper match that means something. Surely that's a good thing? It's been done in the past.
I'm just worried that our world class players vs plumbers and mechanics, knowing our luck, equals disaster.
Our reserves are of a MUCH higher standard than Enfield bloody Town....Im open to suggestions but I can't see any advantage over playing 90mins vs our reserves.

The only possible way I can see Siggy being allowed to leave is if Bernard makes a final decision that he will not join Shakhtar and Miniero are forced to come down on their asking price. Getting shot of Dempsey and Sig and bringing in Bernard for a total 2-5m outlay plus a major savings on wages would be smashing business. Otherwise, though, selling Sig would leave us way short on the wings and at AM.

Once upon a time...

Honestly it's like fairy stories in here today, I don't know, you don't know, the mods might know...
How many times do we need to be asked not to speculate on identities?

Actually, do we really care on their identities?

It's like kids playing Cluedo...."Col. Mustard in the Library "etc...

Either read it, mull it over, decide for yourself or ignore it.

Can it really be that difficult for adults?

Yes. Unless we get a Bernard or Lamela in, selling Sigs doesn't make much sense. Unless there is something to these "everything is no longer rosey between DL and Barnett" vibes some have been getting.

I agree.

Siggy still has a role with us methinks.

I can't believe that Jasper and JJ are both retiring and people are still questioning the validity of other people's ITK. They'll all be gone by September at this rate.

Transfer window is heavy for we fans, probably a lot heavier for respected ITK's.

Bit of a breather carries no shame nor blame.

Archibald supposedly quit too.
That was the big loss for me.
