I really do believe Soldado would do the business for us. Top player in my opinion.

It is really interesting to hear from JJ as we all assume that a club has a target/targets and just follows them, but it really does sound like one day you may catch a chairman in a good mood, the next 2/3 maybe not and then you talk to another, and then back to the other, it sounds a lot more "hot potato" than I envisaged buying a player/players would be

I'm starting to wonder about this in a way. Levy has not shown himself enamored of foreign forwards in a long time. I think if the preference was for Crouch over Llorente......then they probably agreed with each other. And then never again.

if we had got him then at least Bale wouldn't been injured - maybe that was the thinking!

This feels like the beginning of last years window, lots of big name strikers linked but they be holding out for the bigger teams - I doubt we'll be getting any of them anytime soon. Sounds like Leandro is advertising for a big club and has his fall back at Spurs same too with Villa. Hopefully these 2 are not 1st choice as we wouldn't want to hang around for their decision if there's a shiny new striker waiting to be taken. I like the idea of getting Negredo and Soldado.

The owner would like me in all honesty to go and spend his money and buy somebody who could make the difference - but I don't know where that player is.



Not worried when it's safe mid-table style players, when it is expensive top class players he seemed unsure. Of course, he says whatever he feels like at the time.. always has done.. but his dithering may have cost us a few decent players. Suarez is one (although he's mental, so maybe a good thing in the end).

Harry favouring past it superstars for short term success. Confirms alot to me and is probably why he will be managing the Championship next season.

I have looked really hard, i mean day after day and i canno for the life of me see a post by you (or anyone else) like the one above after we beat Inter by the odd goal in four or even after Redknapp got Spurs a CL place after we beat Man Citeh away.......honest absolutley nowhere to be seen or read..........guess that fickle fans posts get delted on SC?
