Archie Gray allows Emerson to leave.KWP allows Emerson to leave too though.
Neither KWP or Edwards are good enough for where we want to be, in my opinion.

For the record, I meant if the options are to sell Skipp and Emerson, lose a trained at club player in Skipp and replace with KWP to fill that gap then sign another similar midfielder to Skipp then I don't think we've gained anything, just moved 2 average players on for 2 more average players and not helped the HG issue at all. Also would prefer to keep Skipp.
Emerson despite his flaws is a much better fit for the inverted full back role that KWP. I like KWP but not in such a specific role, too physically demanding IMO.
Given the new structure of the European competitions, I think we'll be able to use quite a few a few youngsters during the group stage.Just remember - being good at the academy level <> they are ready for the more physical demands of PL, or even Europa.
This isn't the thread to discuss this mate.Does anyone know if we are even playing the same way this season? Lots of conjecture about who we should sell or buy, yet we might be playing 3-5-2, hence Ange's desire to add yet another CB. There are other possibilities. Our first game will be a behind closed doors friendly. Change may be in the wind, the move to a back 3 including Dragusin could pay big dividends.
Doesn’t help us for EL.Or we could promote one or more of the very good academy players.
True, but I’d much rather we didn’t register a full squad than bring back players who don’t move us forward as a teamDoesn’t help us for EL.
My thoughts exactly, why buy players we wouldn't even consider ordinarily.True, but I’d much rather we didn’t register a full squad than bring back players who don’t move us forward as a team
