Here's your thread for todays ITK. If that ITK is about Zaha (for example), that's not the green light to spam the thread to death about Toby and or our transfer policy or whatever else takes your fancy.

Right now there's no ITK in the Read Only with today's date on it. Hopefully one of SC's ITK's will post something or Dov will whore it. All good things come to those who wait.

It's not that far apart and more bout how the deal is constructed. Steve is paying lip service. Villa need more up front. Grealish will end up at Tottenham. Villa are one of a few clubs who don't mind dealing with Levy. Plus Levy don't buy many players in July anymore due to financial reasons. Look back at last season's transfers and the dates. This transfer will go fast once green light is given. I like Levy and don't believe he hasn't got more transfers lined up and ready to go when/if players are sold.

As the close of the window gets nearer, I'm certain deals will start to pick up throughout the league. Once the mid tier teams start to look at the likes of Nkoudou, Llorente, Sissoko etc, I get the feeling incoming deals are poised to pull the trigger quickly.

He's a thinking man's signing. More competition in those AM places and home grown, I think he'll enjoy playing in such a talented squad.

I was thinking the same, Retro ITK!! If I recall correctly The Journalist started out as a villa ITK so safe to assume he has a good grasp on the grealish situ.

Really interesting insight from Gards...
Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but LEVY will enrage the fans if the following two things don't happen following the sale of Toby to UTD: 1) We get Martial as a part swap deal. 2) We have a replacement for Toby locked by the close of the window.
If both, or either of those outcomes do not come to fruition, that would be a big miss on Levy's part, and will add further validation to the notion of our club being the beta dog to the alpha clubs. Submissively exposing our belly when they sniff around our squad is not a reputation the fans wish to propagate any further.
