Funny how the general theme of "if we can keep Eriksen, get NDombele, Clarke and Sessegnon the window will be amazing" has turned into bedwetting, circle jerks, and cries of "Poch will leave!"

I say funny, I mean genuinely embarrassing.
When did anyone ever say that would be an amazing window?!

Why not? It’s an opinion which is formed based on what he knows through his connections to the club.

It could be but I could easily say signing Dybala, Fernandes and Lo Celso with an Eriksen new deal is ‘possible’. Doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen.

If JJ Just Said bf and glc are 100m in the context of how much that is then we’re clearly not signing them, it’s pretty relevant

Groundhog Day. Anyone who is still optimistic - I am very impressed. We've seen this story too many times.

The real issue here is Poch. There have already been rumblings of him not being very happy with what has happened so far. What not many are talking about is that we are slowly becoming an "old" team. Toby and Jan are both likely gone next year with only Sanchez to replace since Foyth was moved to RB due to lack of options there. Rose leaves and maybe Sess comes in to replace him. Still no great RB options unless Foyth surprises. Sissoko is almost 30. Lloris is 32 or so. Eriksen will be gone. There are going to be another three or four first-team level players needed to be brought in next season and we can only seem to bring in one over 18 months.

I just have a bad feeling that Poch is gone. I really hope I am wrong, but once again his requests don't look like they will be met and he is looking at a very short-handed squad next year. He talked several times of a "painful rebuild" that needed done and this window has certainly not started that process off very well.

JJ said that GLC and Fernandes are the shortest odds of joining but it's ridiculous money, The European leagues transfer windows don't close until the end of the month therefore they're absolutely fine to make us sweat to raise the price until deadline day because they will have 3 further weeks to find replacements.

Take that info and accept that it's best not to past judgement until the final day, yes absolutely Levy will have a lot to answer for if we go with only Ndombele and Sessegnon but give the man his day in court because of the parameters of having windows shut at different times. Levy will know a damn sight more than everybody on here the risk in Poch walking and how that will affect share prices, stadium sponsorships and player negotiations so just wait until 5 oclock thursday. Take the main bit of information from Jj that the odds on those 2 are the shortest.

TBH keeping CE on that wishlist probably means keeping CE on new contract.

Can people wait until the end of the window before they start complaining?
I’ve got a lot I want to moan about so it just seems easier to manage my time if I start now and spread the whining out a bit..

Sure that we had ITK that we want Aarons next year.

In reference to GLC and BF
£100m we would have banked from a CL run, (less bonus’) led by a manager severely under resourced. And remember, CL wasn’t a necessary factor for the stadium

I’m not one for going in on DL and always shown my support, but that’s ridiculous if we can’t get squad improvement done this summer. Especially after the cluster-f of last year. Show the man some support or he’ll be off to Madrid or Manchester at the very next opportunity

How is JJ saying a deal for either BF or GLC is possible causing such a meltdown. Does possible have a different meaning to some people
