Does that possibly suggest we will go back in for a player we targeted last summer and was unsuccessful or perhaps back to the same club for another player so perhaps along the lines of Gibbs-White or (please!) Gyokeres, Vlahovic as we concluded the transfers of Porro and Deki accordingly.

I looked at the 2023 Summer Transfer Thread and I saw....Harry Maguire.

For players linked last summer Vlahovic, Gibbs-White and Fati come to mind. I did think Kolo Muani but he's only been at PSG 12 months.

Twist again would push me to a player from a club we did business with last summer. Kulu on a permanent so I'd include Juve, as well as Forest.

Will refrain from further spammage until @What Lies Beneath puts us out of our misery but 'twist again' suggests that we are doing the dance (negotiations) again with a familiar club and I guess none more so in recent times than Juventus with Don Paratici pulling strings.

Vlahovic, Chiesa and Yildiz will most certainly tickle our fancy.

Agree with this but I was thinking it was about dealing with Forest again since it doesn’t make sense to deal again with the other clubs of last summer (Wolfsburg, Leicester, etc)
