Think Sesko’s agent was as the Emirates for the Everton game which is why the reports have Arsenal as front runners. The swines.

I personally think they will go for someone more established and have Sesko as a backup option. They need to sign a sure thing and we can offer more of a developmental environment.

Cheers for all the info WLB 👍

Interesting that we are interested in so many players from one club. Begs the question, maybe we could be looking to get some investment from Red Bull? Perhaps they are interested in the PL?

Look out for Daniel’s late ‘Chairman’s Message’ announcement! 😂

Kinda pissed off that WLB has started posting in here already... now I'll be F5ing the snot out of this thread (and its successors) constantly for the next two months.

None of the players mentioned seem like Tottenham targets…except baena. I’d imagine we sign someone not mentioned yet and not as pricey.

I was just going over some La Liga statistics again and it reminded me how much of a creative powerhouse Baena has been this season. In many key creative areas he is as good or surpasses Olmo. If we want a playmaker he would be a very clever addition. Im actually surprised City aren’t looking at him.

Do we know they're not? Half the time City sign someone

Olmo or Eze are supposedly their top choices now that Paqueta is off the table. Seems like they want someone a little more developed.
Would love Eze for us. Hope he wouldn't go near Citeh after the dampening of what made Grealish an enjoyable player to watch. Haven't had ITK on him for a little while though.

I really struggle to see Eze. The thing is that now we have Son and Werner on the left we don’t really need a LW so really he’d primarily be an alternative/rotation option to Maddison. Tbh I have same slight confusion over Baena and Olmo as they are both AMC/LW. None of those three are right wingers. Yes they may have played a few games there but it’s a stretch to think they are viable options as wingers in general let alone right wingers.

If however we did want to look for a more versatile creative playmaker Eze would be the most expensive of the three. Olmo as we know has a €60 mil release clause as does Baena and he will likely be allowed to go for less.

If we buy Sesko or Openda whilst keeping Richarlison and re-signing Werner I am very worried we won’t strengthen properly in the wide areas.
Daddy just leased me a Honda Fireblade and now he wants to buy me a Ferrari without selling my Porsche. I'm worried that means he won't buy me a Kawasaki Ninja H2R.

Of all the top choices, are there any that stand out as on the field leaders? That's been something we've been missing for too long.

Never ceases to amaze me that every season we get linked to brand new players I've never heard of.

Thanks for the ITK guys, keep up the good work. Now to go on a google hunt to find out who these incredible players are

Great to see us linked with a couple of young and proven goal scorers. I'd be happy with either, but my preference is Sesko (younger, taller etc.). Would be difficult to fend of interest from other big clubs though.

Yeah I would've thought right wing would've been our priority too but no concrete links so far. I think Eze has a £60 million release clause that was inserted in his last contract extension. I do think his versatility is one thing, but he seems to have a great character and has been welcomed by the club with that box, and is friendly with Maddison and Son, not that that means much. The profile is definitely quick, incisive combination play which we have struggled with.

Lots of action since I last signed in. The fact that @What Lies Beneath (WLB) is frothing with news is exciting - given you were looking to extricate yourself from ITK earlier in the year. I’m guessing this summer is a good time to be a spurs fan. Thanks all for your insights & sharing.
Edit. I hasten to add that @Trix & @Hercules are always in my thoughts ❤️
