Seeing links to players from the dutch and Spanish leagues and obviously there are great player that come from those leagues but I can't help feeling burnt by Jannsen, gill, glc, soldado, etc...
Just not suited to the league
Would much rather us focus on the championship for younger players.

You need the players with technical ability and can't splash a fortune on all the most well-known and overhyped.

I love the whispers we've been getting so far in the recruitment, and we're bound to hit on some

Don't know much about these players though exciting to hear that we are not waiting for the last week of transfer window ro make moves.

Interesting you mention him, heard nothing personally but heard we were looking at another Japanese lad, Matsuki I believe his name was. Just looked him up and it appears they have the same representation.
Oh that is interesting, I’ve never seen him myself but I know he’s supposed to be a pretty highly rated young b2b. I’ve seen him mentioned as one to watch in the J League a few times.

Believe it or not, I've actually watched him play a few times this year as I've an odd obsession with the Japanese national sides (To the extent I have five Japan jerseys despite having never stepped foot in the country once in my life).

I actually didn't think he was anything special to be perfectly honest though, he was just a tireless workhorse from what I could see.

Would definitely put him into the 'Gallagher' bracket of player style so I imagine he'd just be a much cheaper backup alternative to signing Gallagher himself.

That said though, it was only the u21's I saw him play for, so he obviously has a tonne of time to develop his skills. And also I've never seen him play at club level so could be a different story there.

Kuryu Matsuki. Midfielder, plays for Tokyo. Just so everybody is aware.

Sure it wasn't Yuito Suzuki at Brondby?

His nickname is 'Pitbull'. He could be an interesting option. Sounds like he has very good football IQ so is very alert as a defensive midfield. He's also very useful going forwards
He's been linked to Brighton and German clubs.
