Latte is identical to milk (in its original meaning). We call that type of coffee "Latte" as a lazy version of Caffe Latte. If you order Latte in Italy, the shop may give you milk only.

Can confirm. One of my colleagues got a hot milk when asking for a latte in Vienna.

Yes, but it's spelt different to the player's name. It's not any more direct. Both can fit and are plausible. Simple as that - if his name was
Arkadiusz Milk you might have point - but it isn't.
Don't want to create too many replies locking the ITK thread. Let's be friendly and end this. Maybe this is a cultural difference. As a non-British I don't have many feelings on Costa Coffee's Latte. And we all use Milk as a nickname of Milik in my home country.

What if Jose and Levy have been using the same "obvious" coded language to ensure this goes under the radar and the press don't hear of it?

Jose, having coached in Italy, asked for a "Latte";) striker, thinking he's requested Milik. The ITK have heard this and figured he wants Costa, whilst Levy, being a Cambridge graduate and clearly much smarter than the rest of you, has been searching for a left footed striker.

If they don’t want everyone to guess for pages on end then just tell us who was there rather than a stupid cryptic that encourages shit guesses

I think, given that it's been made pretty clear who 'latte' might mean, further guesses should now be considered as spamming the thread. Some of you are just doing it for the sake of doing it now.

Can play all across the front 3, so ticks a lot of boxes for creativity and goal scoring.

JJ signed of at the end of his tweet ‘Dave’ , which was from many moons ago when we were linked to an Italian forward called Vincenzo Laquinta. Everyone kept spelling or pronouncing his name wrong, so we just ended up referring to him as ‘Dave’

JJ didn't post Dave. The confusion came when a poster on here made a post saying JJ had tweeted, but the poster himself signed it off with his name, that being Dave, so that's where the confusion has come from.

No he didn’t. A bloke on SC called Dave said ‘JJ has tweeted’ and signed off as Dave. It’s been done to death in this thread that JJ has said nothing about Dave, that the striker he means is under the radar and different to the Goats info (which JJ himself told the mods he’d not heard) and that the goats cryptic was Milik as that was blatantly obvious word play.

Anything else said on any of these situations not in line with the obvious that’s been spelt out will clearly be deliberate to get the thread locked.
