I've been awake since sparrows fart this morning but thanks to SC, have not yet managed to leave my bed. These next two days are going to do my physical and mental health no good whatsoever.

I nearly made it to the shower but then JJ posted... And here I am again.
I know that nothing's going to happen in the next half hour but what if it did?! What if I missed it?!

If we aren't after Wanyama , no idea who's our CM target... Other league window shuts today, if am not wrong...so not much targets left. I think we will end up with Song on loan...

We can bring players from Europe in until 6pm tomorrow, we just cant get players out to Europe after today (lamella for example must be gone today if we are to believe the Italian rumours)

See I took it as we're working on more than one option in case one deal falls away etc. good news nevertheless

Agreed. It's been said before we work on multiple targets at once, to varying degrees, then pull the trigger on the one we want or can make work. For instance, if Berahino goes tits up, we should already have preliminarily sounded out Batshuayi (just using him as an example) with his agent to see if he'd be interested, what he'd want, if the club would sell, what they'd want etc. then as one player is ruled out another drops into place.

With all the money spent on donations we could have signed a striker. Here's hoping JJ's optimism is on the money too. Still hopeful on Berahino and a surprise defensive midfield signing but we've been left disappointed so often on deadline day I have to keep realistic & expect nothing. Whatever happens I'll be glad the windows is closed so we can focus on the team we have.
