**** me even the Sun are getting the odd thing right.

*it was ages ago though, and only then if we sold Younes and Zeki

Zeki's going hopefully and Kaboul needs retiring... but I guess it's too late to move for Nastasić now :(

Loving this game of getting us all optimistic and stuff over stuff that probably wont happen. Heartwarming. Would be nice though if the interest in guys like tevez and nastasic came off

Is anyone even interested in Kaboul?

Do we know of any interest for Kaboul that might reignite our interest?

I have an idea!!!!!!! We take Nastasic and we give the sheikh a 3rd DP for his new MLS venture in Younes Kaboul. There. Kaboul and Fryers go. Nastasic comes. Sheikh improves his MLS team. Works out for all parties.

Don't think today was great timing in terms of a 'shop window performance'....lol

Ha true that. But if we had a player such as Nastastic willing to come and the funds leftover to do so, I'd take an embarrassingly low offer for Kaboul at this point to see that one through. Has been so poor this season and in preseason.

Don't worry...there's always Harry!!

Qpr maybe??

Also had this thought. Do they need another CB though?

Kaboul has become a liability, little more than an obstacle in a course for the opposition. Would almost rather even see young Veljkovic there at this point. Would rather have the inexperience, but at least an able body, rather than the reverse.

Physically he looks as good as ever. He's still rapid. The problem is he can't defend atm.

Could not disagree more. Physically doesn't look even remotely up to par. His agility and speed on the turn is simply killing his defending ability.

I don't think his physical ability is the reason he's playing so poorly. It's his decision making, he's just sloppy positionally and on the ball.

With Stambouli likely coming in tomorrow as it stands I'd rather play him at CB than Kaboul. I'd have Kaboul as currently 6th choice and wouldn't mind him leaving and having Stambouli covering DM and CB and no other CBs coming in. Squad wise it would allow another signing too, although currently struggling to see anything other than Welbeck tomorrow.

We'll just have to agree to disagree then mate. To my eyes, he looks very much a player who is at a point in his career that his injuries can no longer be compensated for with youthful vitality.

I may be wrong, but I believe someone mentioned the fact he does not wish to be played at CB any more, and this is the reason he wanted out of Montpelier.

Monaco need a CB, and they need to spend some money tomorrow or their fans will be angry ..

Stambouli refused to go to Marseille because they wanted him to play CB (not the only reason but one of them). Let's not have another Vertonghen ...
