There is something/someone on here I've been incredibly confused by for a long time, almost feels like a parody, but I'll keep that to myself as I see what happens when you don't comply lol. I am aware of my comments post and prior the latest. A lot of dynamics has changed within the squad and changes a lot of things. I do not want to disclose what they are, but they are obvious ones, ie H. There are major issues defensively, which has not gone the way JM expected.

Just my opinion here-
I don’t feel you need to explain yourself (posts) to anyone on here. Unless you’re Daniel Levy’s rent boy and getting the pillow talk, shit will change and it might be out there before your source tells you. I duly respect you as a poster who tends to light up this place with your inside knowledge but never really take anything as gospel.

It's ok us acknowledging we need things now but we have needed a lot of these positions for a lot of Windows now

Which is why its laughable when people say give the club at chance. Mostly because no matter what happens, we will all still be here but also because they've failed chance after chance since the January window of the season Leicester won the league. This past summer was the first step in the right direction but was nowhere near enough given the job we've left ourselves with the windows prior to it.

It seems illogical that Levy would not support Jose in areas where financially viable .

I cant see that had Jose been at the helm we would have had a activity less transfer window.

The ITK is always taken in context and some common sense applied . I feel that there will be many more players willing to play under Jose than Poch and so let's wait and see this one out before judging it as a shit window.

Am pleased with the KK links and even though it does not address our top priority it is a step in the right direction of building an elite team.

I honestly think this is his last season with us. We’ve not grown with him we’ve regressed and he’s outgrown us.

KK would be great, but I honestly think that money is better spent elsewhere. Alderweireld - Sanchez (I like how Sanchez have been looking under Mourinho) is not brilliant, but OK.

80-100m should bring in someone like Aarons and a decent CM/DM.

That's like saying you wouldn't take Ronaldo because we need a LB and a GK.

And who's to say the right players in those positions are available? Do we then just sign anybody that's half decent?

For me if you get a chance to bring in one of the worlds best you do it.

Really interesting. Guess it's a simple question of math... spend big now, betting on a CL windfall for next season. EG: $100M over one window to ensure we get the 100M+ that comes from CL qualification. Or, blow a ton of money and finish outside the top 4. Regardless, if we make no moves whatsoever in January, I really don't see how we finish in the top 4.

I think this is fair, I mean most people (myself included) assumed Jose would get Jan and Toby back to their best and very quickly but clearly this hasn't happened.

I hate the way our chairman only does this when we've got something to lose.

Open the checkbook when the team need the little push to win a title or need to take a step up.

I can't see us winning anything with this mindset.

If this is true it tells you everything you need to know about ENIC's level of ambition and priorities.

Look like we're going to miss out on the money and prestige (for sponsors, ie more money) of champions league qualification? Cheque book comes out.

Look like we may actually win something with just a bit more investment? Cheque book goes missing in action.
