Mouts to add with Dembele and I'm eating humble pie as Levy's played a blinder.

Could do with Llorente/Falcao mind :) *

*Spurs fans are never happy are they ;)

Would accept a bit if short term cover here

Midfield options of Livermore, Parker, Sandro, Dembele, Gylfi, Moutinho would be bloody brilliant if there's truth to the Mouts whisper. If we retained VDV (which I very much hope we do) as well then wow. We'll have real quality there and much much much more depth than we've ever had in my 20+ yrs of following Spurs. I mean, faaaaaaark. Modric who?

Until Moutinho throws his 3rd strop in order to engineer a move to Real/Barca/Whoever. Seems a bit of a habit. Sod it. I'll enjoy the 2 yrs we get and worry about that later. Just sign him!

WE CANNOT LET RAFA GO, he is the brain and heart of our team thats already a legend in my eyes, to sell him this window for such a mediocre price of 9m euros is absolutely absurd.

I know it's stupid trying to apply logic to ITK but it would make sense if JJ's "+1 up top" was a loan from our new bestest buddies Real Madrid of Jese Rodriguez. We were supposedly in for him earlier this window and he's not going to get any playing time at RM. He can play as either a striker or a winger. It would make sense for both parties for Jese to join us at least until the January window when we can determine once and for all if there is any hope in signing Leandro. It wouldn't surprise me if Levy negotiated a loan of Jese as back up if our other striker/winger options fell through as part of the Modric deal.

My guess is affelay for wing cover, rafa to leave if moutinho arrives and sturridge as backup to adebayor. Do not think there will be any big striker moves, no way as adebayor is obviously not going to be 2nd choice.

Has there been any clarification of what exactly this working partnership with RM is? Either through the media or ITK? Seems strange not to announce any of the details of how it will work.

I think I read somewhere it was like possibility of loaning younger players, friendlies, sharing coaching techniques, etc

I don't think Ade necessarily has to be 2nd choice. We could rotate the two big name strikers, with both getting plenty of game time. A lot of other big clubs always seem to have at least two big names. (Albeit not Chelski at the moment)

It means that the next player they sign from us goes quickly and for a good price. Other than that, there's fuck all benefit to them I would have thought. Maybe we get some scraps - albeit their scraps tend to be pretty good to bloody good (VDV etc) - but what else is there to pard'ner up about?

Wow, just seen the Mouts news form Silver Badger and i'm 'cited...

If we sign him after Dembele, that will lead to self-bukkake fun (unintentional, but unavoidable )

I was really hoping for some season long loans from them. The Sahin loan to Liverpool kinda killed off that idea though.

But I acted out in petulance! Here; take your revenge now and we will call it quits like men.

"quits like men"......I prefer calling revenge, revenge. I don't think that new term will catch on. Nice one for trying though!

I now, I'm a twat, dumb me down, unfunny, but................... I just couldn't resist.

Moutinho really would be the big signing for me for so many reasons. The biggest would be his relationship with AVB. He understands exactly how AVB wants his teams to play, and enjoys working with him. Not only would we benefit by having someone familiar with AVB's preferred style at the heart of our play, but it would also show AVB that Levy is willing to support him to the best of his abilities.
