Re dele Jose does not want him

Daniel wants to protect his asset will only sell for 70 , we are now in position of a player in his early twenties on over 100k a week not playing , A loan is only solution but there has to be a taker , his wages plus loan fee will be best part of 20 million

two promoted teams want foyth on loan

Daniel wants deals now , the non crowd thing has changed everything there is no money in game , everyone thought there would be some kind of gate in oct with it generally increasing in numbers as year progressed everyone is struggling

Update on other outgoings: we are still trying to offload Foyth, Aurier and Rose. Lots of interest but none which match our valuation. Dele situation is out there already

Well whoever this 'everyone' is that was expecting smooth sailing from October is naive and stupid.

Classic Levy move: wait until the last minute so that buying clubs get desperate and you eke out a few extra million.

Just hope it doesn't backfire or we end up being too stubborn and get stuck with players with no place in the squad who are declining in value.

Well I have to say that if we genuinely believed that we’d definitely have crowds in October and then gradually and smoothly onto full capacity then we are more naive and foolish than I thought.

There is a difference between what you want to happen and what is likely to happen.

Levy best lower his asking prices then to get rid of players and their wages otherwise he will be paying players wages for not playing and they will be reducing assets.

jose will deny it but dele was only player of value he felt could do without once the tangy sale did not happen, the money would be spread out Imo , Jose is pushing him out to strengthen team

Goes to show how remarkably stupid the people running these clubs and footballing governing agencies are.

We brought in good players like Reguilón and Doherty for less than what they would have commanded in a normal window. But we refuse to consider the same when we are trying to offload our players. Well.. We have to accept we aren't offloading our players for the valuation we have set. You can set 70mn valuation on Dele but no one is coming in for him this window.

Also, re Dele again, pretty sure people would come in saying its another KDB/Salah mistake from Jose. But it is blatantly obvious Jose gave his personal attention to Dele from the day he arrived here as a manager. And the decline of Dele from 2018 is also obvious in front of our eyes.

I can’t imagine Rose has much value left. If this was in the What car can I buy for £1k thread, people would be warning you off Rose.

rose is out of contract in the summer isn’t he? Will get very little for him realistically

Very bad thinking and that worries me. In my job I made the call in late July that we would be where we are now but mid October at the earliest and things would tighten. I wonder what some so called business people have for brains.

No money in the game and so called businessmen in the game had no idea this was coming as they are idiots, any deals actually made have been bargains this window and we still wont lower valuations for our players we desperately want out in order to bring in players we desperately need in. That is the state of play today i guess. 6 days before the first window shuts. Oh dear.

I thought they would be optimistic for the best but prepared for the worst. Now it seems like they were BANKING on the best.

If this information means Skriniar only if we sell to ambitious prices, we could get into a struggle. Hopefully at least this one is on track.

Itk on no crowds shows it is an especial blow to Spurs as we had so many other games lined up - US football, rugby, concerts. Levy trying to get every penny. Can't blame him as in all likelihood no fans in the new stadium for a very long time. Keep squeezing, Daniel!

The notion that Daniel Levy has been entirely surprised by the latest announcement on COVID restrictions is absurd. Guaranteed that he and the directors will have considered and prepared for every eventuality.

That’s not to say that Dragon’s info is wrong. I don’t doubt that Spurs will now have to look for deals on different terms. But I equally don’t doubt that this was always the plan if fans weren’t allowed back.
