Isak won't happen at that price.

As for Neto, with Mendes involved nothing is even remotely done until it's done as he'll hawk him about for as long as possible.

We'll see but it's good news we're pursuing him if that's who Ange wants.
After what happened with Luis Diaz, you can't trust Mendes one bit. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Neto is one Liverpool would be looking at if they're succession planning for Salah.

We need to move fast... If we can get both Neto and Doue we'll be flying this season.

Neto would be perfect for supplying Richy with the right kind of ammo. I think with a quality supply line out wide Richy will get us 25+ goals this season in all comps.

I don't think Isak or Neto are the answer, they're obviously very good players, but can they play Ange's style of football, the style of football our manager wants? Hopefully we're still doing the thing we did under Paratici, where we're linked with this player then buy that player instead.

The positions we're looking at is exciting though.

Sesko link up play and runs are light years ahead of Gimenez, butchered his clear chance when through against Portugal but suspect he was running on fumes at that stage.
Very possibly re: running on fumes, but as a striker you do it to get those chances. Have to bury them. I can actually excuse the scuffed left-footed shot as he was off balance with Pepe breathing down his neck but that one in extra-time is unforgivable. Doesn't make him a bad player mind, he could well have had an off day as many do.

But I've seen good link up play from both Gimenez and Sesko this summer, with subpar finishing also from both. Just stating my observations.

I remember an interview with Ben Davies not that long ago and he said that if he was coaching he would have Deli playing in the 6 role and that he could now play there with his eyes closed, he still is that good. Maybe it’s something that they may look at when and if he trains well with us.

Positionally disciplined is exactly what you think of when someone says Dele :p
