So sorry to hear about your mum Mr Pink. Lost my mum to cancer at 59. I can still see her as nothing more than skin and bones. I'm 59 in September and I'm absolutely bricking it..

Overwhelmed by how many of you responded, thanks so much for that.

My mum actually worked in a primary school for years in and around WHL, before coming back to NI.

I'll certainly be donating.

My thoughts go out to you. My wife lost her mum from cancer - wishing you strength at this difficult time. Best wishes.

Understand the importance of this so much more now.

Just found out my mum has cancer of the spine, liver and lower part of the brain, obviously very advanced with no recovery ?

Thoughts are with you & your loved ones, as other have mentioned enjoy every moment you can and tell her you love her every day.

Have lost too many good people to cancer, it's one of the charities I've got monthly direct debits set up to support. Have also donated to Vics run.

@Mr Pink
Thoughts, prayers and love going out to you, your mum and your family.
As others have said, enjoy your time with your mum and cherish these moments.
Stay strong brother!

Edit: wishing @wishkah and any of you going through these times the above wishes as well.
Its far too common and heartbreaking.

£20 for C/relief and Vics run. Watery eyes nothing to do with signings today. Thoughts and love are with each and everyone one of you who have shared the loss of loved ones to this awful illness ❤️

A worthy cause...
My father also has Cancer I found out a couple of weeks ago. Whilst we are rather estranged, family is still family.
I'm travelling for business, but will try and sort a donation out upon my return.

In the mean time, here's hoping for some official news on TN to cheer us up.

COYS.

Right, I've been good to you lot so far and I've not bugged you for donations (yet) so it'd be nice if you could see your way clear to donating toward a good cause.

SC's mummy mod Vics is doing a run for Cancer Research this Saturday and it'd be really nice if we could get her total up a little bit more. I'm looking at some of you lurkers here, sling a fiver in the pot. I'm double looking at some of you who ritually spam the thread, you lot can throw tenners in.

Bollocks to the food and rent! Donate now!

Sling a post in here when you've donated for multiple winner ratings

Go on, do it, I'll be especially nice to you for a short while too*

*Minimum 15 minutes, maximum an hour:D

Donated to Vics run and and thinking of you and your Mum @Mr Pink

Donated - it’s a cause we’ll all have an interest in eventually, one way or the other.

Good luck to you Vics, and all the best to you Mr Pink, and anyone else dealing with C, my heart goes out to you

Sorry to hear your news Mr Pink lost my dad a fanatical Tottenham fan to brain cancer last August so feel your pain mate. It was this time last year when found out and his only wish at that time was to be around and see us in the new stadium but unfortunately he didn't even make the start of the season.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Treasure them while you still have them with you.
