Understand the importance of this so much more now.

Just found out my mum has cancer of the spine, liver and lower part of the brain, obviously very advanced with no recovery ?

Awful news Mr Pink, we are all here for you if you need anything. In my prayers both you and your mom.

Really sorry to hear that. I went through something very similar with my mum more than 9 years ago now so I know how tough it is.

Thanks Rob, only found out late last night. I obviously use SC a lot (as you know) and just felt compelled to post that, even though I know we're all waiting for signings, exciting as it is, when shit happens like this it really is very sobering.

So yeah, I'll be using here all right, it certainly helps (as does A&Cs humour)

Thanks to all who have read my post and replied to it.

Right, I've been good to you lot so far and I've not bugged you for donations (yet) so it'd be nice if you could see your way clear to donating toward a good cause.

SC's mummy mod Vics is doing a run for Cancer Research this Saturday and it'd be really nice if we could get her total up a little bit more. I'm looking at some of you lurkers here, sling a fiver in the pot. I'm double looking at some of you who ritually spam the thread, you lot can throw tenners in.

Bollocks to the food and rent! Donate now!

Sling a post in here when you've donated for multiple winner ratings

Go on, do it, I'll be especially nice to you for a short while too*

*Minimum 15 minutes, maximum an hour:D
Just a fiver I'm afraid - tight month - but best of luck to Vics.

Welcome Jack Clarke.

Hope he follows in the footsteps of the other Leeds players we’ve signed, all of whom have made a big contribution to Spurs, like Lennon, Rose, Robinson, Keane.

And Willem Korsten.

Not forgetting Terry Yorath, Leeds stalwart who arrived after a stint at Cov, also father of Gabby Logan who is anchoring the WWC whilst wearing odd clothes.

So sorry to hear this, it wasn't long ago I was in this same situation.
It was both a curse and a blessing. I lost my mum, but I had never been as close to her as I was at the end, and, I have never been closer to my brothers and extended family.
Stay strong

My Dad died from mesothelioma. It was really hard. But the pain fades in time and you will eventually be left only with the good memories. I wish you all the very best.
