I think Sandro will almost certainly be first choice midfielder under AVB. Most important member of the team in my opinion.

Well if Parker is injured because of the Euros and needs an operation then Sandro will be the first name on the team sheet this is the Season he becomes the main man.

we are going for champions league spots and i certainly wud not want a rookie like caulker playing majority of games.. what the lad needs is more experience playing in premiership week in and week out against all sorts of opposition to learn more and cut mistakes out of his game that we will make and learn from.. any mistakes or bad run of form at spurs cud kill the lad off altogether cos the rewards at end of season are so vital.

i just think it would be in everyones best interest to give him another season in premiership playing reguaraly somewhere else. its the best option.
What you are saying maybe true with say a young CB coming up the ranks but to be honest he isn't that, He is a new signing who has progressed hugely each year, he also someone who has played over 100 games before the age of 21(something not achieved by any current international(yes 75% of it is in lower leagues))

Also if he does well in the olympics we could well be seeing him in the England squad ahead of Dawson playing for a different team

not keen on Gal moving on

he was good back up for the injured King and Daws and even Walker at the end

would much rather he stayed with us till Caulker is Premier League ready at a top 4 level
Sorry, T, but he really wasn't. He performed well the previous season, but he was barely adequate towards the end of the season that's just finished. I can't see him getting his form back either, so won't be upset if he does move on.

He's also a top top bloke, nice golfer and brought up a lovely lad in Dan.

Will not have a bad word said against him
A nice bloke definitely, top flight centre half? Not a chance. Shame really because he was a trier.

Yes Gal has been great for us but he is not suited to avb's tactics needing fast defenders.

Wouldn't happen to be a reader of cartilage free captain, now would you?
Never heard of it until just now, but SBNation blogs are tremendous in the comments. Just checked the site, they have taken this to a whole new level. Fantastic, I can't compete.

If Gallas goes, that must mean Caulker will come back and stay, at least for the initial 6 months and give AVB (maybe) a chance to look at him.

Across the City, presumably that means Fulham?

Agree. He showed at the back end of last season that he can take the game by the scruff of the neck. Not just tackle hard and put pressure on players but he's not scared to hold the ball and he uses it well. I also felt he was far less reckless recently than previously.
