Good strong target man who scores a decent amount for a defensive mid table side, if you think we are getting anyone better than the likes of Wood , Wilson or King to be our 2nd choice striker you are going to be very disappointed imo
And most importantly will be used to the terrible way we will be playing from now on.

Big thanks to the ITK'ers. Heaps of info to catch up on this morning. Great to see the stoof stamp out already again.
Best of luck to all those expecting as well. Lookdown was fun for you fella's.
Just to add Chris Wood would surprise a few I think. Plus for a Kiwi he is ok.

[As I’ve discussed there were five potential strikers

3 of the 5 are king , Ings and Chris’s wood

a week ago ings was fav as we looked like Tanguy may go and we would have the money for ings

today I’d say it’s Chris wood but lazio are in heavily

there has now been progress on a permanent sale of foyth to another pl club , if we can shift him and Serge by mid week it will probably pay for the next signing

FWIW I believe the striker JM is interested in with “two good seasons in the PL” is Woods at Burnley!! Can play up by himself or in a 2 with Kane slightly deeper. Not saying It is him or I want him but he has many characteristics that would appeal to JM.

You heard it here first?

So, Ings was on our radar, contingent on TN leaving, but that fell through by the sounds of it. Bummer. Get the feeling TN is gonna be an issue that will likely drag on and on.
