Agreed. Not sure why people are still seeing the words of a brand new coach, in the transfer window, at a club operated by Levy as indication of anything, much less verbatim plans. Honesty think even the tabloids would be more accurate at this point in time.

That having been said, I'm very happy to see Poch doing things this way. He hasn't even dropped names, and has deflected every time an individual has been mentioned. Good stuff.

I'll also add that he said "players" indicating that we are looking to bring more than 1 in. Also corresponds to the ITK (I'm going to say that in every post in fear of going off-topic )

I'll be amazed if we get MM. It's clear it's too complicated and these things rarely come to fruition. Besides, it seems clear to me Fazio was plan b.

Plus the start Dier has made tells me he is far more ready for the PL than I have given him credit for.

In all honesty, we don't need anymore defenders now and buying another one and ignoring the fact we're still an injury to Ade or/and Eriksen away from being severely weakened seems a big oversight to me.

I really hope if there is a surprise after MS it's an attacking player.

I don't know. It's common knowledge that anything negative he says regarding transfers should be ignored and anything positive he says should be taken like it's 100% true

It has been that way under Levy so no surprises if MoPo does not give us any transfer clues.

I'm worried that we have 4 main recognised CB's and no new contract for Verts. He is/would be in demand too and would command a decent fee. Smells fishy to me.
But that could just be I'm a yid and used to the feeling that it all seems/is too good to be true thus far

Their is no doubt teams will be looking to take a few of our lads imo.Given that it has been said Poch wanted to trim the squad down I cant see M.M happening though the 3rd party thing just seems a step to far and too difficult to get past with only a few days remaining. on the upside im glad all has gone quiet on Chiriches leaving and hope he stays. Holtby, Sandro and Townsend will be the ones sold imo if realistic bids do materialise. I really do hope M.S comes in for the cherry on top.

Mp also talks about having players that can play in multiple positions, no one has actually come out from Villarreal and said this deal is dead have they ? Just got a sneaky feeling we are still in for this one. As for MS I've never been in doubt, we knew they would try to save face, they've done that to a degree as he started the season for them. He will arrive before the deadline

Great to see JJ (and Poch) suggest we will be active over the last few days. Last couple of windows have been a damp squib for us, which just isn't the Spurs way!

Schniederlin is the must have signing whereas everything else points to an AM/WF if something comes up. I'd be happy with Welbeck but would possibly prefer a more creative type (Eriksen/Lamela rotation) if there was one available, with a view to Welbeck/J-Rod in Jan.

Oh and one more. Lloris new contract and Vorm signed = clause in new contract saying he can go if not in champs league next season and for better price ala Levy style with the longer contract

Think we might still try to shift Chiriches and Kaboul to bring in MM.

Fazio is a good option, but I'm not sure he's of the level to be Verts' primary partner.
