Sherwood has identified 2 young Tottenham players. Its not just paper talk.
The lad at Brentford is one.

Conversation not fact, but we fear losing Grealish. A number of clubs including Tottenham are taking a look and have watched him before.

I think the club would be mad to even consider selling Pritch, or even loaning him, without giving him a try. But I am actually a bit worried about this bit of ITK because Pritch is not listed as being on the summer tour...

If anyone knows a very reassuring reason why he is not in Malaysia (or has evidence that he is) please cheer me up a bit and post it. I really don't want him going to Villa or anywhere else!

He is in Dubai on holiday after a long and hard season with Brentford.

Effectively on loan til 30 June I think, probably been given time off after helping Brentford to play-offs anyway, no drama.

If pritchard has the option to play all time there and not so much here I would take a loan and let him find his feet in the premier and the year after we are laughing however he is more than ready to be here now!

My god no; the guy will be amazing for us next season. He's super ready.

Fredericks will be 23 in October, surely if we are after Trippier it's time to let him go and wish him all the best. It's hard letting one of our own go but he doesn't appear to be in Poch's plans and at that age he should be making a career for himself at a new club. Maybe Villa?

Pritchard on loan at Villa sounds like a good idea. The boy has potential and a bright future, but beeing asked to deliver for us is something different than beeing the star man for a small club like Brentford.

I really rate Pritchard, but i do feel he is a little overhyped on here. I see many have him in their starting lineups for next season, but i dont think he is quite there yet (i would love to be wrong though). I have seen him quite a few times this season and he is still raw. If he is guaranteed play time under Sherwood, a coach he should know well, im all for him developing further at Villa.

But we need backup for Eriksen.

Pritchard hasn't signed contract yet;Still in contract talks. So, can see why we get this interest.

Loaning Pritchard out doesn't make sense - when wing position is something we are weak at (squadwise)

He'll get game time here, and he's perfect for Pochettino's system, so what is the point in loaning him out?

I dont mind Pritchard staying with us either. But if he was a guaranteed starter for Villa for a whole season that would do a lot more for his development than playing backup for us. The boy need to play.

Having said that, there is also the chance that he show us during preseason that he should be a guaranteed starter for us, and i would be even happier for that. Not many saw Kane taking such huge steps so fast either.

Kane got plenty of playing time and he wasn't considered a starter at the beginning of the season. Between europa and the domestic cups Pritchard will be getting a game nearly every week. Plenty of playing time and a crucial member of the squad.
