I'd be amazed if we're after Martial, he signed a massive new deal with Monaco last month. I know never say never etc but there can't be too many deals ever where someone has signed a 5 year extension then moves a month later. A year later yeah, not a month?

Monaco have just announced the sale of their left back to PSG, their greatest rivals in France

Al so up for sale is Moutino (their vice captain) and they now have 2 loanees in their first team squad.

This demonstrates they are trying to generate cash from selling players.

Are we in for Martial again - don't know
Do we stand a chance of landing him if we want him - yes if we bid a decent amount !

Could Grey's "commercial" comment look towards Heung-Min Son who we were linked with in the press in the past day or so? He's a bit of a Moutinho/Damiao in that we have been linked for years but his value has shot up so i think he would be out of range now and could only be an altrnative to Berahino. I've only seen him a few times but he looks pretty handy and quick as hell and obviously brings in the "Asian market" that is always banded about as being improtant commercially

Our chase for a midfielder is a bit embarrassing now. Wish we had sorted out McCarthy when we had the chance

I really have to say that the list of names on the most recently updated player threads is incredibly depressing.

There really isn't much to be excited about except for SB.

Son Heung-Min and Anthony Martial. Would be spectacular signings in my opinion. Not sure what we have up our sleeve with regards to the CM now that Ilarramendi has been sold elsewhere. Looking forward to the next bit of ITK news on this.

Goat: So we're looking at some new names (no positions) and some names that may be available as they are now out of the CL

Also

Grey Fox: Possibly a late suprise

SO, WHY THE MELTDOWN?

Commercial would also tie in with the current sponsor. AIA operate in Korea and have done for the past 25 years

You are entitled to an opinion but you can't have been reading the ITK too closely because everyone, even JJ who just tells it like it is, has stated that the situation that we currently find ourselves in is not of the clubs doing.
Furthermore, are you really surprised that the club would look to other options if WBA want between €34-41 million for Saido
Why have you quoted berahino price in euros?

Not saying that they are bad players, but a 19yr old with 10 career goals in the French League....certainly not "spectacular" or a game changer.

Just playing devils advocate, but how can you say that us being the only PL club to have one CF 3 games into the season is not of the clubs doing? Did it just happen by accident?

That's definitely the optimistic end of the transfer window spectrum

We actually have two, one is just a parasite who doesn't deserve to and will probably never wear the shirt again.

We have tried to sign several CF's and we all know it, the fact that we're down to one playable striker is because Soldado wasn't compatible with the Premier League and sold. Then there is Ade who is well... Ade who we're also trying to offload.
