I know this is very vague but Tottenham are talking to an agent called Marcelo Simonian.
Personally I didn’t know who he was until I did an internet search. He has a number of players on his books but I don’t know who the talks are about or how serious the talks are etc.
We'll take what we can get! :D Ta for passing it on, TJ.

Should note also that this agent appears to work mostly with Argentinian players. Perhaps has some link somewhere to Lamela?

Maybe it is PSG who have bid for Bale, and we are now talking about Pastore!!!

Farfetched I know :)

Clearly the Bale deal hasn't been agreed. You would be able to see Zidane's and Perez's erections from space if it had.

There are 4 players on his books with any value:

Pastore
Banega
Ricardo Alvarez (Inter) 25, AM
Fabian Rinaudo (Sporting) 26, CM

Bearing in mind we've got Willian's fee rattling around i'd rule out nobody at the moment.

Because as soon as it's announced we officially have an extra £90m to spend and prices react accordingly.

Do you really think the inner football circle will not know what is happening.

So this guy say its done if he knowns so should every sleeze bag agent.

One reason could be to announce Lamela first before announcing the Bale deal (if there even is one in place).

Could be possible or maybe the deal ain't happening because we want Lamela and Willian now the latter is not happening the deal has stalled.

No I don't to be honest, but it might leave a little bullshit room which I'm sure Levy is adept at utilising!

I think it means that AVB is getting on with the business of preparing for life without Bale. He's making all the adjustments, additions, etc.
This is a wise fail-safe, and if Bale stays - that's a big bonus.
That makes sense. If Bale stays all well and good but AVB is not putting plans on hold to wait for that to happen.

Bale staying, if it happened, would be down to Levy & Lewis doing some deal with him plus it would have good commercial implications for the club so it would not be AVB who gets to say no...neither would he since AVB wants to win and we know that Bale can produce the goods
