I'm not sure that's what it says. Taken together with yesterday's info from Dragon1, I think it's more that we'll only get the bigger money first choices if we shift Tanguy.

That's an accountant's way of looking at things. Levy is more concerned about value than P&L, and as an owner, so he should be.

Fair enough.

But a lot of people do believe that Levy thinks like an accountant. He doesn’t. He thinks like an investor. Which is a very different thing.

Not that I can recall.

But I suppose we do need to make a decision as to whether or not we continue quoting him on SC

EDIT: Eventually. For now, just take the salt as you would every other ITK.

Rob made a comment from which he seemed comfortable with us inferring whatever we wanted about Dragon, whereas usually you guys wouldn’t even give us that much leeway to form our own opinions on the credibility of an ITK.

Dragon doesn't post on here and so hasn't gone through any sort of verification. He's been ITK for a long time though.

He did have a meltdown on FTL (threatening to fight someone, throw them out of a window, etc). He then reppaeared on COYS and given the abuse he's aimed at COYS previously that surprises me.

Fair point. One of a myriad of reasons GF and JJ don’t wish to pass on info any longer - I can only imagine the pm’s they had to endure ?

Oh I’m not suggesting he is happy for people to abuse/ make derogatory comments about dragon, only that he left enough in his comment that we could read into, which seemed to break with the usual stance of ‘if we allow it to be posted, we know it’s well sourced’.

Anyway I’ll stop here as I don’t want anyone to think I’m trying to encourage itk abuse as that’s certainly not my intention.

I’m not surprised either. Social media has changed the dynamic completely. Back in the halcyon days (maybe around 2008), I’d come home from work and there would often be ten bits of ITK in the read only thread from various posters. We barely get any now.

When Twitter first started to become popular, I fought hard (and lost) to have it excluded from SC's ITK and it was posted all over the place.

Then things panned out as I predicted and we all lived happily ever after.

Dragon keeps saying 42 mill, I thought the figure in the press was much higher? Or is that before add-ons? In which case, I wonder if part of José's reluctance to play him at the end of the season was because we'd trigger a performance clause on my number of games or something.

Well it's directly responding to the ITK suggesting we'd take £42M, a massive loss, which personally I find hard to believe.

I'm loving the we have no money line, seems only Coronavirus has affected Spurs, just our luck.

Maybe we could all chip in an extra fiver for our memberships to not get to see games this season?

Yeah, I can't possibly imagine why the club with the most debt, taken out to build a stadium which gives them the most matchday income and event revenue, is most effected by a pandemic which stops anyone going to that stadium...

Fingers crossed we can shift Aurier and Ndombele to free up some space, as this squad isn't good enough yet.
